Was the town the same but different? Can you remember if it was a different texture? More fluid and less solid?
Certainly the buzzing sound in your ears is a common sensation from Astral travel. When I first had an out of body experience, the first thing that was apparent was the buzzing noise.
I certainly think that what you have experienced is real. I think that everything is energy and that our bodies have different layers, one of them being the astral or dream body. This has a higher vibration than your physical body. I also believe that there are many dimensions that we are unable to see with our waking eye, but that it is possible to travel to during sleep. Compare it to a radio station. You are tuned into one station only (during waking hours), but that doesn稚 mean that the others don稚 exist, they池e just on a different wavelength. Your astral body whilst asleep is able to cross that line.
Sounds like you are well on you way to becoming a flying master.

When I felt like I was actually "there" in that place, it very much resembled what the town would look like at that time. It was dark except for the street lights, the buildings were solid, it was very very clear, the air was cold like night time air...the only thing I wished I would've done was to try my tricks to see if I was still dreaming or not, but I was pretty certain during that time that I was actually doing it, traveling to a real life place. I thought to myself, Oh I'm actually doing this..I hope I remember it when I wake up and I better not stay out too long and try a bunch of crazy things right off the bat... I guess it just comes down to whether or not I believe such things are possible.
