Default My grandmother and a cheetah. O_o

So last night I had a dream.... that was terrifying. No, not because of Halloween. I didn't hardly do anything for Halloween. Actually, The only thing I did do Halloween-ish was eat a few kit-kats.

Anyways, this dream was intense. I was at a huge family gathering. We were all sitting at this big long fancy table, eating dinner. Sitting at the head of the table was my grandmother. (It seemed normal to me at the time, even though she had passed away last year.)

Then, after dinner, my boyfriend and I start to go down the stairs to the basement to hang out... but there is this board in the way... So, my grandmother comes over and lifts it up for me. This is when I say "Thanks grandma!" and everyone around the room looks at me oddly. As I walk down the stairs I hear the people upstairs murmuring "that's odd", "weird" ,"I wonder why she said that." That's about the time that I realized that my grandmother was supposed to be dead. This put me in to shock, because she seemed just as real as everyone else... and I had always pictured ghosts as being almost transparent... and actually seeing my grandmother was pretty intense.

When I got down the stairs, there was a cheetah. Then I recognized it in my dream as the "spirit" or "entity" that took my grandmothers life... like a reaper or something... Then it started to lunge at me... and I was running away. I got so scared that I almost woke up... but I only woke... half... up... and I could open my eyes... and see the room... but I was still partly in my dream. I had sleep paralysis too... so I couldn't move or speak... but the cheetah was leaping around my room... and jumped on top of my bed... I was trying to scream " I hate you!! I hate you!" because it was the spirit that took my grandmother... but nothing would come out... and I was trying so hard to move my arms and get it away... but I couldn't... then as I was waking up... the face of the cheetah slowly distorted and became my blanket. =/

After that I got up and walked around for a while. I just couldn't shake the fear. It was so intense... It probably sounds weird but yeah.

Do you believe dreams MEAN something? If so, what do you think that could mean?

I don't know what to think.
Sometimes I think there is more to my sleep paralysis than doctors say... and it scares me.

Wolfjk has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Default Sleep paralysis dream.

Hi,
This was real sleep paralysis dream. You were probably sleeping on your back with your armson your chest or the blankets were too tight round your body.
The dream is actually trying to frighten you awake - first with the ghost of your grandmother, than the idea of a killer cheetah!

In the dream the idea that you can't move or shout is very frightening! It concentrates your mind towards waking up.
The meaning of the dream is in what it is trying to do; wake you up.
Cheers Wolfjk
