recurring dream - getting shot in the head

I have had the same recurring dream for the past 6 or 7 years where I get shot in the head several times, I am bleeding and know that I am in danger. I have never died in my dreams, but I know the situation isn't good.

It is very disturbing to me that this keeps happening - can anyone tell me what it means? I am just a normal person that leads a normal life - can't figure out why I keep having this dream.

There is also another dream that I have every so often that is very creepy. I am usually sleeping on my stomach when I have this dream..... I am sleeping on my stomach and someone is under the bed and stabs me on my right side by my hip bone (same place everytime). I can feel the bed filling up with blood and I always wake up at this point because it really feels like the bed is filling up with blood. It feels so real that it's creepy. What does this mean?

I also just had a dream that someone was trying to take my niece from her house and then the guy came in through the garage and stabbed both her and her mom.

Is this normal to have this many creepy dreams that are so violent? We sleep with the TV on at night - so just wondering if that could play a role in the dreams...

hope someone can help me determine what these things mean. I have looked up on dream dictionaries, but they never give in depth descriptions, etc...

please help.

I am sure you get headaches in your sleep. Getting shot in the head means that the dream is turning your headache pain into a dream so you will not wake up.

Sleeping on your stomach causes heavy breathing and pain in some parts of your body. It is the discomfort you feel after lying on your stomach for some time that cause the bad dreams.
You can try it yourself: lie on your stomach for an hour without going to sleep and see how your boby feels. I am sure you will have pain in many parts of your body.
