Violent dream

I had probably the worst dream of my life this morning.
I dreamed I was on a street and there was a baby that was in some kind of trouble and I was trying to help it. The next thing I remember I was cutting the baby in half and could see it's guts and was stuck on the spinal cord.
My wife woke me up and said I was screaming NO NO NO NO. I started crying and have been so upset all morning. I can't get the vision of what happened out of my mind. We both stayed home from work today.
I've had violent dreams before but nothing like this ever! I just can't seem to shake this one off.

Please help.

Relax, it is not as bad as you think. We all have violent dreams like yours but remember them very rarely. These violent dreams happen when you fall into very deep sleep. These dreams are needed to bring you back to a higher level of consciousness. Normally the violence in the dream subsides and becomes more realistic and we finally wake up. If your wife woke you up more gently the dream would have had chance to change, but in your case you woke up too quickly and the dream stayed in your memory.
I believe that if your wife put her hand on your shoulder and gently tried to lift it as if turning you over, you would have responded by changing the dream. You probably would have turned over in bed or repositioned without waking up. Dreams respond to the slightest outside influence and change to accommodate it.

Hi,
A baby means a chance , and spinal cord means your brother or sister .
Guts and intestine means some money usually some hidden money.
This will be more clear when will take place in a month or two months later that you will do your sibling a favor.
Dreams sometimes are disgusting but they should be interpreted.
Here is some more info about dreams:

About the approximate interpretation time table: Dreams at noon or exactly at midnight( In the summer time 13 at noon and 1 midnight else at 12)in the same day if past a few minutes, a few days later. Dreams at 10-11 in the morning in 15-30 days later. Also dreams at 3-4 in the evening in 1-2 months .Dreams in the sunset mostly are not truthful and are messed, they have no interpretations, Dreams at 4-5 in the morning in a few days to 2 months some dreams in the holy books( Josef dream of kneeling the sun and the moon and 11 stars)was interpreted after 20 years and other dreams of the Pharaoh's prisoners interpreted in the same day and after 7 years. Dream of Pharaoh about the 7 thin cows and 7 fat cows interpreted from the next year to 14 years. Also dreams in 6th of the month will interpret after 1-2 days, in 9th at the same day, in 10th after 20 days, in 13th after 9 days in 14th after 26 days and in 15th after 3 days, in 16th after 2 days and in 28th ,29th ,30th in the same day, but these are solar (Persian months and you should refer to a calendar or convert them) . Of course there are different kinds of dreams , like messy dreams which have no interpretations or deja vu dreams, or psychological dreams or dreams which are caused by bad food or drinks.

I'm sorry that you had this nightmare, i have them my self. I know what you are saying about you can't get the picture of it out of your head. It makes it where your afraid to go back to sleep. This is why I'm here, to figure out what it means to have such a nightmare. I hope that you get answers, all i can offer is a prayer for us both.......Angela

I had a dream similiar to this. I know what you mean about not being able to get the picture out of your head. I hate these type of dreams.
