Strange Nightmares

For as long as I can remember I have had these weird dreams where I cant move but my mind is awake. Then I hear this ringing sound that just gets louder and louder as I hear this I get this strange throbing feeling all over my body. Also the feeling of pins and needles poking me. All these three things just keep getting more intence till I feel I cant take it anymore. I just keep telling myself wake up wake up. Its not like I'm dreaming about anything its more like I'm sleeping not dreaming or anything then I wake up but I cant open my eyes yet I have normal thought meaning I think like I would if I were awake then the noise starts low at first but it gets louder and louder. At the same time the throbing and strange pins and needles feeling get stronger with the ringing. The strange thing is as soon as I lay down to go to sleep I get this funny feeling in the back of my head and I know its gonna happen. I have found no answears to what to call this experience or what may be causing it. I have found my own methods to just wake myself up as this happens but its still taking me a while to wake up from these strange dreams. Can anyone give me some answears to what the hell is going on?
