| Nightmares! Horrors in the night? Do you wake up screaming, or wish you hadn't fell asleep in the first place? Post it here, or if you are good at helping folks interpret these kind of dreams, then do so here. Maybe you will get a good night's sleep. ; |

Hello to all members, I'm new here(having just seen the sight and being quite interested in dreams) and have a quick question about some dreams from the past; luckily I don't suffer from these dreams anymore. In years past I was prone to waking up from dreams violently enough to be punching walls, my bed headboard, etc. I know it's not uncommon to wake up flinching, rolling, or any other type of small movement, but I was waking up from actually punching things, often hard enough to cause my knuckles to bruise/bleed. My question regarding this is simply what members here think of the mental/emotional factors needed to trigger such a response from dreams/if others here have had this happen as well. Thanks to all responses.
-------"We are meant to be here. We step from one piece of holy ground to the next under stars that ask ... imagine, for one second, you could drop in on a past life. What would you like to find yourself doing there? What would charm you, make you proud? Ask yourself that, and the question of what to do in this life becomes so simple, it's terrifying. Just to do that thing that would charm you, that would make you say yes, this is the real me. Do that, and you're alive." - Alex Venteaux Last edited by StormEcho23 : 10-10-2007 at 09:41 AM. |
