I once had this pet, who was my best friend for over 8 years. I spent everyday and night with him. I would take him jogging, we would go to the park, or, my famliy would take him camping. I started to get closer with him and spoiled him with everything I could because he was like my own son. Years later, it was my a week before my birthday and I prayed to god that he let my precious friend stay alive for just two more years, while crying my eyes out. Then, two years later, a week before my birthday, his legs started to swell and he started to go blind. So, I had to put him to sleep. Also causing me to cry non-stop for a couple days in a row. A few months passed and I had two, what I would call, nightmares, within two days. I dremt that I would be standing there for no reason, doing nothing, when all of a sudden, I caught a glimpse of my dog standing on four paws, wagging his tail, panting with his tongue out like he was smiling? Then I asked, "What are you doing here? I thought you were dead?" After that, my nightmare showed his death all over again? Except, in the second dream, my boyfriend's dog, who encountered the same thing except he was hit by a car, was in it, showing his death all over again. What is this suppose to mean? |

Perhaps you still feel a bit croos with yourself for having the dogs put down. However the dream is about what is happening in your own sleep. My guess is that you need to wake up suddenly in the night for some reason and the dream uses the memory and regret of losing your dog to wake you up. Cheers Wolfjk
