Yesterday, my first dream was of a former co-worker dead. I was in our yard, but it wasn't my yard, nor that of any house I've ever lived in. It was large and forested. We were having a barbeque, with lots of people. (we, my hubby and me). I needed to go get some wood for the fire and saw a tarp on the ground, behind the wood pile. I thought, WTF, and pulled at it. It wouldn't move, but I saw the shape, and smelled a smell. Immediately, in my mind, I knew what and who that shape was. It was horrible! In my dream I was freaking out. But freaking out privately. I didn't want hubby to know I knew. She's not 17 yet, in real life. And I haven't worked with her in a year and a half. I don't know... It creeped me out.
I woke up, went pee, fed the cats and went back to bed. My next dream was better. Feedback? |

Dreams of death represent the ending of one phase so that a new one can begin. It can show forthcoming finalities such as the end of a marriage or career. These are symbolic dreams and are unlikely to forecast an actual event. If the dead person is someone you know, consider what aspect of yourself that person represents. For example, if you dream of your mother dying could it represent the 'death' of the motherly side of your own nature.
