Default mm not the best

Try setting the alarm a couple hours before your regularly wake up to disrupt your sleep cycle. You'll be half-awake and half-asleep... a dreamlike state.

When I was trying to get my sleeping schedule right on track my dreams suddenly started to become more vivid. Prior to fixing it, I was going to bed at around 3am and waking up at 12-1pm. (i really need 9 hours)

Before sleeping at 3am, I set the alarm at 7am. BRINGG!!!! Like a zombie I slammed the snooze and sat in my bed thinking about how I should spend my day before I drifted off asleep again. Like magic, I was transported to some weird dimention half-awake half-asleep. I was dreamining, knowing I was dreaming and had the ability to fully awaken, but chose not to. Anytime the annoying clock would chime, I'd slam the alarm until around 8am where I gave up trying to awaken and reset it to 10am. I had never dreamt like that since a year ago and it was a fresh awakening to the prowess that existed in sleep.

I wouldn't reccommend this unless you actually have allergies, but when I first started taking Zyrtec a while back, it caused lucid dreams on an almost nightly basis. This is actually one of the known side effects of the drug. It doesn;t happen anymore, but I I have been taking them for a couple years now. Stupid allergies

Smile hehe

I'm finding it funny how most of the recommendations towards lucid dreaming involve drugs

Ahh.. drugs... is there anything they can't do?

About 75% of my dreams are lucid dreams that I can control whether they are nightmares, adventures, etc. I do not know how or why I do it but I will try to keep note of things I do prior to sleeping that could maybe help figure it out. I think some people just have the ability....like a gift but I am willing to try to figure it out.

I have a feeling that you were having a nightmare. Do you take in food before sleeping? I have observed personally that the amount of food intake before bedtime can contribute greatly to having nightmares or just plain dreaming. I view lucid dreaming as that when you are able to control events consciously (i.e. waking up without anyone doing the waking for you).

I have a question. What if you only remember dreams that you have like every half year. I mean, I only have dreams on a RARE occasion.

Any ideas?

Sorry, Arpeggio but I can't help you either. I suggest you try and read all the other forums as you may be able to get some answers from there.
