Default Used to Lucid Dream- No Longer Can

When I was a teenager I used to lucid dream all the time. Now I can't. In fact, my dreams have now been "dumbed down." Before I had all five senses in my dreams, could change the scenery, create people (fun when your a 16 yr. old guy) I could add music, and I could remember every detail of my dreams when I woke up.
I know this sounds insane, but its true.
I could even call up any previous dream and re-dream them on command.

Now, at 23, my dreams are non-lucid and stupid. Really stupid. Childish stuff. And I can only recally flashes of them. And whats worse is my dreams are playing in my mind when I sleep like a tv commericial. I actually jump from 30 sec. dream to 30 sec. dream.

What's going on?
How to I get back to the way I was?

i have had a few lucid dreams before, dawm they were fun yeah idk why you can't anymore maybe it is something to do with the development of the brain. anyway i am sure if you talked someone who knows what they are doing, you could be taught how to produce lucid dreams again.

Yeah, me too. I used to think it was something that I would never lose, but I've recently been missing it.

Default Getting lucid dreams back

Your brain is getting old, howerver I didn't lose mine until I hit 30.
I know I don't get them back because my sleeping cycle is not uniform. But you can try to go to bed at the same time every day for a month and dedicate 8 hours of sleep.
Before you go to bed, meditate about your day, sit on your bed and relax and think if you could have done things better that day or not, and how could you change them.
Also, you need a good diet, lots of fish and if you can, take B complex supplements and if you are a very healthy guy, maybe eat a honey sandwish before going to bed. Your brain eats 25% of the suggar in your body, honey has no fat therefore your liver doesn't touch it and it's absorbed quickly. Also, your brain loves phosphorus and fish is a great source. The B complex will make your sense more sensitive. You repeat it for a month, then when you go to bed, think of flying and how can you fly in your dreams and all of the sudden you will be able to fly at wish.
When I was a teen, I could have lucid dreams every day, but I hated the fact sometimes I couldn't wake up or it was hard for me to wakeup at will, I would yell "Somebody wake me up" and sometimes I just had to wait for the morning to wake up. Did you have that problem?
