sharing a waking dream?
my husband has waking dreams every night of shadow people. i had never encountered them myself, though. until a few weeks ago. i had an episode of sleep paralysis, it always happens to me right as i fall asleep, so usually i dont even think ive fallen asleep yet. this time, i had opened my eyes and saw a tall man leaning over the foot of my bed with his hand out over my husbands head. he was the typical shadow man. no facial features, very big, and wearing a hat. terrified of course i tried closing my eyes before the man knew i saw him. i realized i was paralyzed the moment i thought i had to save my husband. when i could move again the man was gone and i immediately woke my husband up but he was in a waking dream. he got up and ran to turn all the lights on then turned them off and went back to bed without a word to me. i just tried going back to sleep before the man came back. the next day my husband told me he had bad nightmares, and i told him that someone was in our room. he quickly replied with "he was leaning over me reaching out?" i know that sleep paralysis can cause hallucinations, but to hallucinate what he was dreaming? ive found some good information on how to rid someone of them, which kind of scares me as to why these people are visiting him on a nightly basis. anyone have any information on why i was able to see him that night? and how i was able to see him while i was awake? thanks.
