Hi,
two nights ago i had a dream. It was an old skinny lady with white hair. she was possessed by something and in a circle with stones around her. it was in a spiritual shop. She got out of the circle and was licking and sniffing people. she came up 2 me and started doing the same 2 me. whatever was in side hr body wanted to get into mine. In reality my 6month old son was in my arms sleeping also. i new i was dreaming and was trying 2 wake myself up b4 the spirit or whatever it was took over. it was stopping me from waking up. As i was fighting it it decided 2 try and get my son 2 scratch me in the dream that it.(reality he was still sleeping and i new this even though i was in the dream) I new that i was wanting 2 physicaly stop my son in the dream but couldnt as i would hit him in real life. I finally woke myself up and my son was safe and still sleeping. It has been on my mine all day. Can some one please explain. |

There are many different levels of lucid dreaming - only rarely am I completely lucid - having the exact the same personality in the dream as I do in real life. Usually I am semi-aware of my dreaming, and try to manipulate things, but don't take the full advantage of the lucidity and regret what I could have done upon awaking. Other times I am aware I am dreaming but I'm in this crazy 'id' state where i am either violent or hyper-sexual and totally destructive, so opposite my waking self its hilarious to friends and boyfriends I describe the dreams to afterwards. So yes, you did have a lucid dream, even if was a little confusing and convoluted!
