Default someone PLEASE interpret this dream!!!!

i had this dream that my crush and i ran away to las vegas, got married, lost all our money, went to california, 'made love' on the beach, and then he told me he was super happy that all my cancer was gone.

p.s. in real life, i really do have cancer, but i'm almost finished with treatment. i have hodgkins lymphoma, which has a 90% success rate

Hmm. Well I think it can go in a variety of directions:

It is as if you are gaining something and losing something.

I feel stupid because it sounds like I'm just stating the obvious. You are obviously losing something that has been menacing you for awhile, i.e. hodgkins lymphoma. It almost seems like a necessity for life, as ironic as that sounds. But it is an oppressive and parasitic relationship. Yet with the fulfillment of your Love, you gain something stronger, more real and alive and symbiotic.

It's interesting that it was Vegas, though it does make sense considering you lose money, but the fact that it was Vegas says something about a gamble, and what I feel as abruptness. You love and then bond to that love in a place where you gamble. Then you gamble your money and lose, poof. But it doesn't feel as if the "dream" in the dream falls. You move West, toward the horizon. California, that kind of dream land for some because of its almost irreality and mythology. Upon a beach you consecrated your Love (sorry if this sounds religious or poetic) and the Love unfolded its joy and prophetic optimism of your "losing".

Sometimes when I look upon my dreams, either in the moment of the dream or in retrospect, I always try to "feel" what the dream is. It is a kind of intuitive feeling, a guestimating. You follow the feeling to the idea its expressing.

I wonder if you could write down some particulars of the dream that grabbed your attention. Things that really made you remember it when you awoke. Cause I generally find it easy for myself to get what my dreams were saying when I let them tell a story; their story. Whether writing it down in my thoughts or like this it can always help clarify things.

Cause sometimes it is the weird stuff we remember, like how the casino looked like an amusement park but you quickly wrote it off as just something odd in a dream, or how the dealer at the table was wearing gloves or something; stuff like this tends to be the piece that helps it all come together.

By the by, I'm so happy for you!!

Default the move to the pacific shore

Dear writer: I liked your dream. If one person, two,or more is making a trip from the east to the pacific ocean or california Las Vegas would most naturally be a stop on that trip. Few of us travel as much as we like, consequently when we do travel we take in as much adventure as we can on those trips, its all very understandable. However in the case of your dream I think the las vegas venture is more symbolic than a specific marker. The best love possible is somewhat of an act of pure abandon. In other words there are times when caution needs to be thrown to the wind and this is one of those times. In my personal opinion, I would not paticularly want to have either a friend or lover that has a gambling impulse. Long time friendships or relationships involve managing finances aand resouces in such a way that would protect all or each of the parties involved. You mentioned the person in your dreams was a crush. I like your honesty. Thinking about it all I would personally prefer to keep myself open for a number of crushes rather than tie myself down with marriage. Most generally the romances have a tenancy to dimminish when a person lives with another over an extended period. In other words the value of friendships is to learn from each other. To be a good friend one has to develop both communicative and social skills and most important you have to be your own person. Generally speaking all human beings have encounters with some form of cancer or another during their lifespans. However most prefer to ignore it, and its most likely best to deal with it in this manner.
