Weird

I think im using this phrase correctly, but i once had a lucid dream where i was hanging with some of my friends in a mall somewhere... the setting was completely unfamiliar but all the ppl there i knew and recognized.

I was hangin with my buddy from school and i was explaining to him what lucid dreaming was:
"it's like being aware of your dream and controlling it as you go"
"thats cool"
"yeah, it is, watch this. Want some ice cream?"
"sure"
and then a strawberry ice cream cone popped into my hand
Friend:"woah!"
"yeah, watch, ill try to make a basketball"
(notice how i'm talking like this is real, i knew exactly what i was saying, and continuing the conversation accordingly)
As i tried to put a basketball in my hand, i noticed there was a faint image of one in my hand, however it kept fading in and out, much to my despise.
Me: "thats weird, i thought it would work"
"huh, can you control action too?"
"i might be able to, watch this"
and as i said that one of our friends walked by, a girl my friend had a crush on, and when i finished the sentence, the girl walked up to my friend and kissed him... (this, however, was a dream from the night of the last day she was at our school, she moved =( )

Any ideas?
