Default Amnesia after a Dream

A few years ago I had the longest dream that i've ever had. It lasted about 3 days. When I say that I mean that I went to sleep in my dream at night then woke up, still in my dream, the next morning. I did that again the next night, and on third night that I went to sleep I finally woke up IRL in the morning.

The strange part is when I woke up, I had no idea where I was. The room I was in did not look familiar to me at all. Shortly after I woke up my mom came in and told me to hurry up or i'd be late for school. However, I did not recognize her either. I was actually scared that she would freak out about some random person being in her house.
After she left I did a recon of the whole house to try to find out why I was there. She found me and was upset that I hadn't gotten ready yet but said that breakfast was ready. I decided that this person was nice and somehow seemed to know me, so I followed her and ate breakfast. After a very awkward breakfast, she told me to go get ready. I didn't know what she wanted me to do so I just left to room and at that point my memory hit me like a tidal wave. I was shocked that I didn't even recognize my mom!

The whole amnesia time was probably around 10-15 mins. I have had that happen other times, but none lasting longer than 2 mins.

Anyone else have similar occurrences?

Default I get it.

I know what you mean, both the thing about dreaming for days and amnesia. The living in a dream (dreaming for days at a time) has happened a few times to me and it truely is strange.
Though the amnesia happens as of late. It has happened a few times before, but more lately. I actually wake up having no clue where I am and then I have to look around, everything I see shocks me and I get freaked out. My friend called me the last time this happened and I could not figure out how my cell phone worked. I did eventually remember and just went on about my day, but it made me wonder what caused it.
