Characters becomeing real

Hi. I have a character name Boofy that I have created. And lately hes been appearing in my dreams which is freaking awesome. I love Boofy. He is starting to feel as real to me as any other person. I have some pictures of him. Does this happen to anybody else? Its almost like I can't wait to fall asleep so I can spend time with Boofy. Oh by the way I'm an student at an art institute studying animation.







I have so many more drawings of Boofy but these are the only ones I have uploaded.

Not characters becoming real, however, I meet characters in my dream (or I call them people but for the sake of responding I'll say characters) that I then use in my writing or art. However I think what you mention is very possible. He probably represents something. What is his personality like?

He is real. You are his creator and have breathed life into Boofy. I can feel your enthusiasm. I'm sure you are writing down everything that Boofy says or does. Right? Is Boofy in color? Does Mr. Boofy have a Ms. Boofy. Don't let Boofy get you in trouble, though. After all... you are his creator.

this is great. you know it is that most great authers and cartoonests (like waltdisney) could meet and talk to their chararcters at night in their dreams.
so you might want to keep track of your interactions with Boofy, who know? you might be the next waltdisney!
