Oh wow... Its really odd. I am aware that I'm sleeping but I'm in a different place. I Dream very very vividly and sometimes complete with a musical score. When I'm in a lucid dream it feels like its real. Like I'm actually there in the event but I have the knowledge that I can "Pull out" if things get to messy. Expect this one time..... I had to wait for my alarm to go off.

Most of the time when I realize I'm dreaming I want to go mate with some hot female. I don't know why, It always seems like a good idea at the time.

Sometimes my brain tricks me when I realize I'm dreaming and creates a False awakening. I wake up in my bed or in any other bed and I continue the dream believing the event is real.

I'm trying my best to describe it to you. Its such a wonderful experience. If you want a lucid dream try to write your dreams down. Not in Past tense but in present tense. Like your expierenceing the dream as you write. You will eventually have more and more vivid dream and sooner or later you will have your first lucid dream. (hopefully you don't wast it and go look for some action like I seem to do every time.)

cool

although i can't seem to grasp the concept of doing a reality check in my dreams...x[ i can remember my dreams well but i seriously should have known that well one dream was that my friend had killed batman and the joker was chasing after me ;/ i know i'm dreaming but i couldn't a reality check when the Joker was chasing me! ahhh i could somehow control it because when i couldn't runaway anymore, i just when up to him and kissed him lmao. He became calm and we were about to get down but then Gordon came and i woke up. I remembered it vividly though ... any suggestions on how i can do a reality check?

Im really interested in this "False Awakening", Is it still lucid, but your just doing whatever it is you do when you wake u? Or can you almost tell it might be a dream with the diffrent reality checks?

False Awakenings is like, a dream within a dream. In your dream, you wake up from having a dream, and then you go about either doing your normal morning routine, or not...sometimes it can just go easily, sometimes not...

Sometimes "not" would be when you have your false awakening, and your going about bla bla bla, and everything seems uncanny, and distored. Strange things can happen...or horrible things even. Evuntally when you wake up, you expect all the stuff that happened to be there/be true, but it's just your mind playing a trick on you.

I've never really looked into lucid dreams, but if they are dreams where you in control, well these are definatly not lucid. Your tricked into thinking that you are awake, so, no point in being lucid there.
