like i posted in a previous post, lucid dreams shouldnt be confused with vivid dreams. this was a mistake i made for a while until i started to do self research and practice lucid dreaming and OBEs.
vivid dreams are what a lot of people confuse lucid dreams with. vivid dreams are just like what it sounds. you can hear, taste, touch, talk, smell, and believe what you are expierenceing is reality. but you are not in control. that is the only difference.
lucid dreams are when you are in the REM phase of sleep, and dreaming, and you realize you are dreaming. you can then do anything you want. at this point the dream isnt doing what it was intended (providing a message subconciously??) you are in the dream state, but you do whatever you want. say you want to go to a mall you just visited, you are suddenly in the mall. you WILL know when you have a lucid dream. i dont know so much as far as dieting and lucid dreaming is concerned, but you have to train yourself in many areas of dreaming, such as dream triggering, and dream symbols. dont be discouraged though, its easy to learn.
