Wondering something about lucid dreams....

Im still trying to work on having them and while I know a lucid dream means you realize its a dream and have control over it but does that also mean that if there are other people in the dream that you have control over their reactions to what you do in the dream? I think I had a semi lucid dream the other nite and I wanted to do something sort of wild in the dream but didn't totally do it because I was afraid of the people who were with me reactions to it.....I remember thinking that if I do this I might be a bit embarrassed and that would be the same way I would of felt had it been real life.

Ha, the same thing happened to me last night. The people in your head, although they may be complete strangers, or friends or family, or even enemies, are all you.
You have to know, in a lucid dream, it is //just// a dream. Why care what the you (through other people) think? It's all in your head.
Last night, when I was lucid dreaming, I did something wild, and afterwards, someone I knew (and disliked) started to say something about how that wasn't 'right'.
The thing is, it's only yourself saying how it's wrong, but since you wanted and knew what you were doing, it shouldn't matter. Just leave.

It makes PERFECT sense!! I don't know why I never thought of it before!! I just have always worried that my dream people would act and say the things they would in real life but of course that's because what they say is what I'm telling them to say!! You just made me realize that since the dream IS all me than I can do what every I want and make them just LOVE what Im doing!!




How can we be sure where reality ends and our dreams begin? Maybe all of this is just a dream....
