I had this dream the night before last. I've held off on posting this while trying to figure out a way to condense it. Also because of the personal nature of it.
The dream begins with me pulling into a driveway into my great grandmothers house. The first thing I noticed was a screened in porch on the house. I walk into the house, and I hear a voice say wow your late. I look over at the couch, and my grandfather is sitting on one end of it. (My grandfather had a massive heart attack in 1992, and died) (Just a quick edit. My grandmother and grandfather had moved into the home after my great grandmothers death.) The second statement he made to me was "The printer is still doing the same thing." In reality I am a network engineer so that leads me to belive that he was refering to a convo we had before I entered the dream almost. I looked around and surveyed the situation, and noticed the house had been completly restored. I also noted the tv which was displaying the end of a Detroit Lions football game. With a nfl on fox happy Thanksgiving logo. Knowing full well the whole family was waiting for the Dallas game. I noted that they said this would be the first thanksgiving day game played in the new Stadium the cowboys are moving into in 2009. Being fully aware of my dreams I decided to check the status of other major events with my uncle. We began to discuss events such as my great grandmothers funeral. (In reality this funeral was completely screwed up by my absent for 20 year great uncle) In this reality my grandfather had told his brother in law to "**** off" therefore stopping the funeral being screwed up. All major events in life either happened or started to happen. A lot of the things that got messed up didn't because my grandfather intervined, and stopped them. His heart attack in 1992 had happened, but as he told me in the dream "Boy you know I was in the hospital for three days then came home. I didn't die". This of course in the dream lead my family to belive either I was insane or had a deadly tumor. So in turn they wanted to take me to the E.R. This whole time I'm thinking Theres no way I'm going to tell these people I'm dreaming. My uncle then pulled out a photoalbum, and began to show me pictures of my grandfathers birthday party from that year. The pictures all included me. He then showed me pictures where I had taken my grandfather and dad to the opening game at the new "Texas Stadium". At this point I knew I had to get out of the dream. I was going to be locked in a padded room, and though I knew I was dreaming I was uncertain as to what would happen if that happened. I condensed and summarized the dreams as not to bore you with explaining years of family drama events. That in this world he had altered by his presence. Everything that has happened in my family since that time happened. Just a lot of it happened differntly due to his presence. Few interesting tidbits/points, and questions about this dream. 1. Has anyone else had one where they viewed a photo album? 2. Any idea what may of happened if I had gotten deemed insane, and placed in a home? 3. I have no clue why I was given such a concrete timeframe of thanksgiving of 2009. 4. Another Minor note The Detroit Lions were playing the Minnesota Vikings. Within the dream there was even a small discussion about Adrian Peterson. As well as Tony Romo meaning even the NFL rosters were accurate. 5. How is it even possible for my brain to paint this detailed of a reality? Or did I literally accidently step into some alternate reality? 6. It all seemed as if I'd stepped into the role of myself, but not myself. Like I walked into a acting role halfway through production, and didn't know the lines. Any thoughts/ideas on any of this would be welcome. I'd really like to find someone else thats had a lucid dream like this so I don't feel quite as odd. Ive had lucid dreams like this before too. I only told my friend, because i knew people would think i was crazy. So, basically just getting to the point, youre [obviously] not insane.
Please dont think im being crazy, or out of this world...but.. Your dream could very well simply mean, you're clairavoyant. Since, you're talking to someone who is no longer alive. [thats what i get from what youve said anyways] And, your grandfather is "helping" you in whats real life, while he's no longer alive? If im right on that, then its really important because he's changing the course of whats supposed to happen. Which, is really special, and it should be something that you continue to pay close attention to. As for the photo albums, it could mean that the past is important, and you have to remember every bit you can in detail. I myself have not had any dreams with a photo album. I hope I at least triggered something in your mind. Sorry if i wasnt a help. |
