Default Dream Return

Greetings all!

This may seem a bizarre question... um...o.k., is a bizarre question. But a serious one.

Question: Has anyone been able to "return" to a dream-place? Or is it just by chance...if at all?

If one had a dream, and felt the need to return to the "place" the dream took place/time in, is there a way to do so? Or to help encourage it?

It's not a bizzare question, I often have dreams in the same dream location, mostly im not intending to do it.. but people do it all the time.. check this site Lucid Crossroads dream world, share the same lucid dreaming space

it is possible... Try "Auto suggestion" (This works sometimes, just keep trying if it doesn't work the first time...). What you do is: before falling to sleep think of the place you want to go... picture it in your head and think "I will have a dream here" or "I will remember my dream" or what ever... Then picture in your head what you would want to do if you became aware of yourself in that dream.. know what I mean?

Repeat that over and over in your head, have that be the last thing you think of before you fall to sleep... if you think of something else just start over...

then WALA! you should be at the place you were thinking of...

This works for everything too... like if you want to have a dream of flying or futuristic like dream or one from the past or anything, thats what you could do.. Imagine it in your head... and intend to dream about it... good luck

It's not bizarre at all. I've often wondered the same thing. I've tried to purposely do it, but it never happens when I think too hard. Usually for me I return to places randomly, at times when I don't obsess to much about it. It could be different for everyone though. If you really want to find that place again, try different methods. The reference Cheetah gave you will probably help. In fact, I think I'll check it out too. Thanks Cheetah!

Here's another interesting question to think about though: If one can return to places in a dream, can they also repeatedly see people (and are they dream people, spirits, or other lucid dreamers?)
