Default Question for Flying Gurus

Here is a question for you flying gurus out there.

When you are lucid and flying through some place else. Do you ever find that there are lines like telephone wires across the sky that trap you and stop you from flying higher, and even make you sink?

Or do you find there are other things that make you loose flight?

When ever I fly, the only thing that stops me is just losing concentration causing the dream to fade but I've read that being blocked by power lines is quite common when flying. Just imagine your self flying passed them or though them. It's all a matter of using your intention and will power.

Default Interesting

Thank you - that's interesting. I've never heard that before. I will certainly try it next time.

I used to have a lot of flying dreams as a child...the two most recurring dreams have been flying the stairs downwards to the ground and landing softly (in my first childhood home) and flying from the fruit tree and landing softly on the ground (in my second childhood home)...the falling dreams have stopped since we moved into the 3rd home which I still live in. If anyone can give me an idea of what these dreams mean, I'd be grateful. I am guessing 'safety/security nets?'

Generally when something stops me in a flying dream, it's a tree or building (school or house only). Stop as in can't go forward because they're in my way; I've yet to crash into anything and usually I can go around obstacles with a bit of work. I can't think of anything that's blocked me from going higher other than myself/gravity or a roof, which again I can go around. Being dragged down is something a bit more common for me. Only three things have dragged me down however - someone grabbing my legs, someone throwing a net over my head, and gravity being stronger than I am. Getting caught in telephone wires sounds a lot like getting caught in a net, only without someone else being the cause. Perhaps in terms of meaning the difference would be "failing" because of another person (net) versus "failing" because of something uncontrollable or your own mistakes (wire)?

I love showing off flying around in lucid dreams, I believe there are other people that I come across that flys with me, or like most pilot, shows off their techniques and tricks. Usually its the one that can fly highest wins LOL

Anyway, nothing have ever stop me from flying. I was selfaware that I can fly through walls, so I don't think a telephone cable can stop me.

Default Tried it

Thanks for all your comments. I found myself flying the other night and the wires were there again. I thought 'fly through them'. As I was going through them, I felt like a a buzzy, sharp pain in my head, kind of how you would imagine electricity if you passed through it. I don't think that I made it through as it woke me up.

I actually used to fly really well.....even showing off flying for fun like Fantasticpow. But lately these wires are always there!!

I think you're having trouble flying through the wires is because you're subconsicously telling your conscious mind that the wire is real and by physical law you can't go through them. You need to stop doing this, because its limiting what you can do in your lucid moment. Consider the wires as something preventing you from your spiritual growth.

Have you try walking through walls? My first time was tough, but as I try, it feels like I'm walking through a rubber wall, thats kind of bouncing me back. But then you can imagin you're teleporting from one place to another which automatically allows you to pass through walls.

Default Hand pains

Thank you for your comments. Yes, I have been through walls and windows and these pose no problem for me. Generally I can fly about and zip through space with no problem at all. It is only sometimes when I find myself in certain places that they seem to appear. When they do, there always seems to be hostile beings there. I have found lately that when I sink down after hitting the wires, there are beings that do something to my hands which is really painful. Has anyone else encountered pains in their hands?

I used to fly a lot, right when I was playing a lot of Super Mario 64. I'd jump three times, and on the third jump, I'd be flying! (Just like everybody's favorite Italian plumber! hahah) There was none of that super star music going on, though. In my last flying dream, I was wearing my favorite skirt (this was about 5 or 6 years ago, I think). Well, my sister and her crush or boyfriend of whomever was there, and she was yelling at me, telling me that he was looking up my skirt. This negative energy (her getting mad/jealous) was what brought me down.

I'm very sad to say that I haven't flown myself since that dream.

Also, I remember that in other dreams, I'd be inside, and the ceiling was in the way, inhibiting my flying abilities. Sometimes, I'd just be too high, and the flying would seem to get out of control. I was sort of scared, afraid of falling, but never did fall.

Although, probably about 2 years ago, I had a dream that my mother took me to some horse stables, where I got on a brown horse, bareback. The horse took off at a gallop, and was suddenly in the air, flying! I was terrified, yet bewildered and exhilarated! It was an amazing dream. I don't remember coming down.
