In Stephen LaBerge's book "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming", he mentions a technique to stay in a lucid dream when it starts to fade. It's called the spinning technique.
When your lucid dream starts to fade, start spinning your dream body. Yeah, it sounds a bit strange but the one time I used it in a lucid dream the dream crystalized again and I didn't wake. Has anyone else used this technique and if so, with any success? Jeff |

Hello Jeff,
I’ve not actually tried the spinning technique to stay in a dream (I will try next time though), but I have found that if you get your dream body into lotus position and still your mind, you find yourself spinning as well. I never really understood the significance of the lotus position before, until I managed this. It seems to generate a lot of energy. I have experienced what I think must be kundalini from this (only in sleep though), a great wind that rises up around your body. Personally, I’ve found it hard to stay in this position without waking myself up. I have to be really relaxed and calm to do it. How do you start yourself off spinning? Do you have lucid dreams a lot?
