Default Shared Lucid dreams

About shared Lucid dreams.

If I become lucid in my dream and know that I am dreaming - and then turn around to everyone else who is also in this dream, and tell them that there is nothing to fear because they are all dreaming as well - Are these actual people sharing a dream? And do they also become lucid as well?

Has anyone out there ever been told by someone else in their dream that they are dreaming, and have you become lucid because of this?

I've always wished dream sharing were possible. I don't know if there is a connection, but you should check out Keithg26's posting in prophetic dreams. A couple of people seem to "meet" real people in their dreams.

Thought you might be interested....

Thank you for replying to my post. I have looked up the link that you suggested. Wow, I really don't know why we all don't spend more time asleep, it certainly is much more fun. I do think that you meet up with people in your dreams, but I'm not quite sure how to prove it though. I remember telling people my name, but you never know if they remember, or if it is ust a forgotton dream to them.

I know, we really should spend more of our days asleep I'm hoping that there might be different kinds of dreams where we really do meet with other people...I have a friend that loves his dreamlife as much as I do and we are going to try to meet sometime after we practice controlling our lucid dreaming more. I don't know how else to see if it can really happen other than having two people who can easily control and remember their dreams to try. It sounds crazy, but I like the mystery that dreams offer. There is always a scientific explanation to everything and it tends to suck the magic out of things for me, but dreaming hasn't been decided quite yet and it is the only place that I can fly---so far .

Certainly there is a lot more to life than meets the eye, and also more than we are led to believe by science. After what I experienced during my sleep, I know for sure that there is a part of you that can exist outside of your physical body.

Flying is great isn't it? Although sometimes I foget how to do it and sink like a stone whilst furiously flapping my arms like wings.

Have you had any bad experiences whilst lucid?

I'd like to hear about the experiences you've had that makes you certain of AP or OBE.

Yes. I've had some really bad experiences while lucid. I experience sleep paralysis quite frequently and that is when I will go in and out of these lucid dreams where there are super evil entities after me and do not want me to wake up (it all started when I felt one in my room pulling my covers off and then i couldn't wake up, there were also times with whispers and arms wrapping around me, I've tried yelling and actually have felt physical pain during these--they suck). When I see these guys in my dream its become more of an annoyance...but still really scary, like "son of a #@&$ it's happening again"..."here it goes." I feel like they are there to really get to me and that if I woke up they couldn't mess with me anymore so they keep me sleeping. I end up having to try a lot of things to wake up because I experience false awakenings and always need to first test to see if I'm still caught in my dream or not.

Why do you ask? Does this type of thing happen to you?

The OBE for me is very real. People who have not experienced this will probably just write it off as a vivid dream, but when you are aware in your sleep, you certainly know the difference between unorganised dreams and being lucid.

I have found myself ‘awake’ in various places and even talking to other beings. Part of me is somewhere else, but I can still feel my physical body lying in my bed, as I can feel it pulling my astral or dream body back into my sleeping position. I’ve found myself telling these beings that I am currently asleep and am trying really hard not to wake up. I ask where I am, but can never remember what they say when I wake up. I know that this does not confirm OBE, but I know what I experience, and that I am not in my body at the time.

About the bad stuff, yes I have had lot of what you describe. I was attacked by something for quite a few years, but now I have fantastic spiritual experiences in my sleep. That is partly why I found this website, as I would like to help anyone else out there who has this experience to end it. I’ll try to keep it as short as possible.

Please bear with me as it is a bit intimate and feels a bit weird telling a complete stranger, however, I need to be honest for it to make any sense. It would start off as a dream which was sexual in nature. This thing would lead me to believe that it was my husband. It even mimicked his hair. But I could sense that something was wrong. As soon as I asked this thing, ‘is that you Jimmy?’ It would become angry and violent. One it even said, ‘no, it’s me. It’s always me.’

It even attacked me ferociously during my pregnancy. I would fight it with all my might as I was worried that it may harm by unborn baby. I was afraid to go to sleep at times.

I remember feeling that this thing was like a reptile (if you have an open mind, maybe you should look up the work of David Icke. Bear in mind my experience was long before reading any of his books.) This thing fed off my fear. If I tried to fight it, it just became stronger. Like you, I would try to wake up, but found myself still there. I cried for help, but nothing helped me. No angels, or god or anyone.

Somehow, I began to recognise it in my dream and I realised that I was inviting it in unknowingly. Read the ‘Art of Dreaming’ by Carlos Castenada. Like the vampire thing, I think they have to be invited by you. Hard to stop yourself doing that during a dream, but it is possible if you are aware of it.

I found there was only one thing that worked to get rid of it. I showed no fear and stood my ground. I said, ‘Get out of my dream, I didn’t invite you. I know what you are and I have no fear of you.’ It then got angry, but had to leave. I did this only twice and I have not been bothered since.

Your experience sounds a lot like what I went through. It took me quite a few years to get there, but sleep is great now. I hope this posting is not too long, and that you find something that may help you get rid of your attacker. Only you can do it. I’m sure you can from what you have said so far about your lucid dreams. Only one thing you must remember always, NO FEAR. Good luck.

Default Wow

Thank you so much for sharing you experiences. It is almost EXACTLY what I experience. Whatever bothers me in my sleep also takes the form of people I know to trick me and very often it is sexual in nature. The thing in my experiences was only reptile like in its whisper...creepy. Anyway, I don't know if you'll read this now, but I am so interested in what you think this is. It sounds like you've read a great deal more on it than I have. I've only found the scientific descriptions of sleep paralysis as an explanation. And the attacker in sleep paralysis is described as a hallucination the mind makes up to make sense of why the body cannot move.

How might I be inviting this into my deams? I remember it started when I was just half asleep, I was actually in my room and not dreaming...but then it grew to be in my dreams as well. I'm sure that there is more than one though---I mean it started with one and now I think there are two of them.

I will certainly try to take your advice on not inviting this on myself, but I would really like to know what you honestly think is going on to have this happen to some people and not others....

Hope to hear from you...

Default The truth is much stranger than fiction

I’m sorry to hear that you have been going through the same thing as me, but kind of glad that I’m not completely mad. I think this must be more common than people admit. And even when they do, it is simply explained away as sleep paralysis like you said. I do believe that there is sleep paralysis, but I don’t believe for one second that what I experienced was an hallucination. I, for one could physically feel this thing. I could even feel it try to kiss me with it’s slimy tongue (disgusting I know)….that certainly is not an hallucination.

As to what I think it is, I think would be really hard to put into a few short paragraphs without it sounding crazy. A question for you. Are you on an honest spiritual journey? Do you question who you are and what life is all about? Do you think there is more to this life than we are being told? One really good author you may like to read is Micheal Sharp – The Book of Life, also David Icke and Matthew Delooze.

I have only found one possible explanation for what I have experienced.
If you can imagine that everything is energy. Energy vibrates at various speeds, kind of like different wavelengths on a radio or TV. We are tuned into one of these vibrations which had been called the 3rd dimension. This is what we can see with our naked eye. As the frequency increases, (we cannot see this as we are not tuned in, but it is still there, like the different stations on the radio), there are other dimensions, ones which I think we can travel to in our astral or light body while we sleep. I think you have been out there too.

There is a dimension which is very close in vibration to ours, which is called the lower 4th dimension. The beings that reside here are reptilian in nature and influence much of what is happening here on Earth by controlling the ruling elites (see the work of David Icke). They generate fear through war, famine, hate, division, dogmatic religion, the economy, threat of terrorism and then feed off our fear. Fear generates energy. This I have experienced in my sleep when I ‘woke’ to find something draining my energy (much like the witches in that film with Bet Midler – can’t remember name). They keep us dumbed down and out of touch with our true selves through TV, chemicals in food, religion, education……you name it.
We are kept from awakening to our true spiritual selves by fear. Humans are beginning to see though all the lies and illusion, and as soon as they do, the ruling elites world will fall apart. I think that they also generate fear and energy through infecting our dreams.

From what you said about your lucid dreams, I think you may be waking up spiritually, and this is why you are attacked. They don’t want you to wake up. Because once you banish them, your dreams take on a whole new meaning. Remember you are a powerful spiritual being and have the power to get rid of them. You just have to recognise it. Last week, a physic took one look at me and told me I was becoming physic, and this didn’t surprise me, it explained quite a lot. I also asked her about these reptilians, and she confirmed it. She had also encountered them. Many physics can see them

You don’t have to believe what I think, but from what I have experienced, this is my only explanation. The truth is much stranger than fiction. I hope you have not found this posting too weird. Don’t dismiss it straight away, look into it with an open mind.

I just did that the other day. Me and my friends pushed this bad dude down the stairs and he got hurt..(in the dream) and my friends were worried that he would get us in trouble and I told them "Its just a dream, we can do anything we want" and they all looked puzzled..then the realization set in on their faces and they were like "oh yeah" after having a great lucid dream of doing whatever I wanted I woke up and called them to see if they had the same dream and one of them couldn't remember and the other one had a different dream..sooo I'm still inconclusive on this subject. I would really like to believe that while dreaming we can interact with other "dreamers" but I have had no luck yet. anyway just thought I'd share my experience

sweet dreams "dreamers"
