Post yeah

if you know that its a dream you might as well be god.
anything you imagine happening to the dog will
you could completly destroy it, make it as big as a house or turn it into a barbie exessory (not my fav idea).
anything that you can imagine you can achive because dreaming is another form or imagination.
you simply pick a target and impose your will upon them
you could even have the dog turn freindly!
remember that its your mind and your mind makes and can change the dream/nightmare
everything be it animal, man, machine or even your family and friends no matter how indipendent they seem are simply part of your dream and are generated by your mind and u r in absolute control of them.
seriously next time give it a try. maby try moving the moon or turning it into a giant mirror ball or turn the pacific into coke and go diving for gummie sharks (literaley)

I'm just wondering if this suggestion comes for your experience? I've been lucid dreaming for quite a while and find that dream control isn't so cut and dry. Are you really able to exert that much conscious control over your subconscious while you are dreaming?

I don't know anyone who has been able to do WHATEVER they want in lucid dreams without practice. I don't know why, but it seems as though it's impossible.

I know a few tips on how to do certian things in lucid dreams. One of them, is changing the scene { so the frightening things are gone }. One time I was lucid, I wanted to see if I could change the scene by just thinking of it. I wanted to be in my english class { to practice my presention - doing it in dreams actually does help! } but the class simply flashed there for one second, and then I was back.

I was upset about this so I decided to wake up after doing what I could do in my lucid dream and search online. I found that there are tips you can follow to help you leave a frightening situation.

While in the dream, spin. As you spin, start thinking and imagning about where you want to be and when you stop you will most likley be there. Spinning, however, can take your lucidity away and wake you up easily, so as you spin you must remind yourself many times you are dreaming. Say it aloud. I've never tried this before but I've heard many people use this tecnique and it's seemed to have worked fine for them!

Default Meditate

One of the best ways for myself to escape a scary lucid dream is to meditate in my dream. Try to still your mind, and remember that what your are seeing is not real. Concentrate on your breath and do not be fearful of the images. See yourself as the viewer and remember that you are not there. If you are lucid, you are more than able to do this. I think the most important thing is to have no fear.

Default dont be afraid!

We create our nightmares out of the raw material of our own fears. Fears are expectations—why would we fear something we thought would never happen? Expectations affect our waking lives, but even more so, they determine our dream lives. When in your waking life, you walk down a dark street, you fear that someone will threaten you. However, for some dark figure to actually leap out at you with a knife depends on there really being some knife-bearing thug hiding in an alley nearby waiting for a victim. On the contrary, if you dream of walking down a dark street, fearing attack, it is almost INEVIDIBLE that you will be attacked, because you can readily imagine the desperate criminal waiting for you. But, if you had not thought that the situation was dangerous, there would be no thug, and no attack. Your only real enemy in dreams is your own fear.

I have never been able to completely author my dreams, but sometimes once I realize that I am dreaming I am able to alter things a bit to escape what ever is terrifying me, sometimes making it disappear altogether. Usually, when I realize I am dreaming I immediately wake up, though.

One day I wanted to stood up against the demon of my dream. The demon keeps following me, and finding me where ever I go.
I remember shooting it with a shot gun and it still comes back.
I remember using all sorts of streetfighter moves on it, and it still comes back.
I remember being goku and shooting fire ball at it, and it still comes back.

Then one day I found a way to beat the system. that is through the air.
It happen on accident, when I had these dreams of thousands of zombies going after me. I had no where to run, but to fly up. So I did, and the zombies couldn't catch me, it couldn't fly.

The last time I encounter my demon, I was so afraid I couldn't get myself to fly, it just wouldn't work. Then I saw a balloon floating by, I grab it and it lift me off the ground. I floated high, as it went down to the street, the demon shows up again. so I went back up and stayed at the top of the roof, the demon couldn't find a way to get to me and it gave up. That was the last time I saw that demon.

In my lucid dreams i usually can only control what I do in the dream, but not what others do. That being said, most the time in order to end a nightmare I create a knife in my hand and kill myself. This makes me wake up even though it might be a bit morbid.

Default I have had a similar experience

I used to dream about a minotaur that would chase me, intending to murder. One night, I was dreaming that I was at my friend's house, and that I had ordered a pizza. The minotaur delivered the pizza! After hiding under the bed from him, I suddenly realized the absurdity of the situation and ran towards him. I punched him, and my hand went straight through his chest as though he didn't exist at all. He looked really shocked; he didn't make any noise, but he looked at me wide-eyed, as if to say, "You weren't supposed to figure that out."

He then exploded into a bunch of rainbow-like pieces, and I flew across them far into the sky. I haven't again seen the minotaur.

So, I guess I don't know. I think it might help to somehow show the dog that he is an illusion. Just act confidently and fearlessly -- Charge! You are more powerful than the dog.
