| General Chit-Chat Kind of like a lounge, just come in and talk about anything at all. Relax, this is like the water cooler at the office. |

Ok! This dream has haunted me for about thirty years. I has this dream when I was about 22 or so. I was still living in the town where I grew up in NY.
I will tell you the spooky part after I tell you the dream. Dream: I was old and working in a farm field next to a mountain. It was gloomy and gray. Suddenly, coming over the mountain were several WW2 type war planes and they were dropping bombs. One dropped where I was standing. Instantly the dream changed. I was standing in the exact same spot and men were building a railroad. That was the end of the dream. Here is the real spooky part. When I was 35 I moved to Oahu, Hawaii. One day my mother and I were driving up Kunia Road up to the North Shore of Oahu. To my left was a mountain range and fields. IT WAS THE EXACT SPOT of my dream. I pulled over in total shock and told my mother that is was the place of my dream. IT GETS STRANGER YET!!!! We went to see the movie Pearl Harbor and I learned that the war planes came over that exact mountain range on their way to bomb Pearl Harbor. I totally freaked!!!! I have a feeling that my dream was a true vision of the past. Has ANYONE dreamed of the past come to find out it really happened some time and some place? |

Yes, indeed, I too can relate to a similar dream and interestingly there is a novel written on the same theme so where did the novelist gain such knowledge. Regretfully, I am no longer able to recall the novel's title nor its author. There does appear to be this feature to dreaming. If dreams can be predictive as they can be, then why not retrospectve? An interesting question; thanks for raising it.

Thanks. I hope others will share if they have had similar experiences in the dream world.
