Unusual Dream

I had a dream that I went to Japan and was anxioux to return home. (I live in New Orleans.) I flew back and stopped at my father's house with some friends. His house was designed different and there was lots of food all along a long counter. One friend fixed herself some food to take with her. This same friend and I came close to having a fight. Another friend stopped the fight but I wanted to have the fight because I did not want to give anyone the impression that I was afraid to fight the other friend. After that incident, I was riding in a car with the friend who stopped the fight in a rural area close to where my grandparents live and there were wild cats (panthers and other ones that I don't remember). We were not attacked by the cats. They just watched as we rode by. I remember us talking about the cats saying we hoped they did not attack us but there was not much fear in us. The cats were in a yard sitting back closer to the house, not near the street, and they stopped playing and watched as we rode by. Can anyone help me out with the meaning of that dream?
