General Chit-Chat Kind of like a lounge, just come in and talk about anything at all. Relax, this is like the water cooler at the office.

What's going on here?

Unhappy What's going on here?

Why did I have a dream about the deaths of 4 journalists form 2 of my local news stations, my friends' husband and a police officer all jumbled into one? This whole week as been nothing but funerals for people that made a difference in the community.

Friday, we had a hellicopter crash and lost 1 pilot and 1 journalist from channel 15 news and another pilot and another journalist from channel 3 news. That same evening two (2) 19-year-old idiots shot an officer in the face and KILLED him.

Wednesday, I recieved a call from a friend that she lost her husband, and latter that evening I found out that the bridge in Minnisota collased, and as far as I know, killed 4 people.

Thursday I recieved a call that my friend left my school to go elsewhere. Why was all of this basically a blur and all thrown into 1 dream?

Should your dream have occurred post those events then it reflects a degree of insecurity within yourself at learning of the fizzures within the structure of society. It could indicate that you had a secure childhood where you believed in humanity and such news caused you to re-evaluate your beliefs.

If your dream was prior to those events then you are gifted psychically.

Hi,
Don't upset yourself! Someone predicted the bridge tragedy 19 years before you. Sometimes people see the risks but take their chances.
Here in England a mile section of a motorway bridge was replaced when they found out that the builders urinated inside the box girders. That is taking action on realising the risk!
You are kidding yourself if you think your dreams predict anything. Planes and helicopters crash all the time, there are too many of them flying - and if you keep thinking about crashes you are likely to dream about them. If you think you can predict a catastrophy and you are brooding about it all the time, your subconscious will create a dream to satisfy your craving. However the dream will be a generic event that your creative mind cooks up, and not be related to any real event.
Cheers Wolfjk

Well, then how can you say that Allison Debua isn't a medium?

The possible reason for your dream being blurred or in some manner vague could be associated to you conscious mind dismissing the reality of such happenings. It was the reality of their occurrence that probably regurgitated the dream memory most of which by the time of the happenings you had difficulty recalling in detail yet remembered its general tenor. Having experienced similar situations myself I can readily accept your claim. It is difficult for those who lack this feature in their lives to accept its credulity.

I guess that would make sence. I have never had a dream that was blurred like that that came true. In the past, they were so clear.

Could something have triggered something in my mind to have this dream?

Not an easy question to answer; it sounds like as if you are asking why we have dreams and other than guessing, no one has yet discovered the answer, so life still retains its mystery.

Hi Jennings,
I have been studying dreams since 1948 and solved many mysteries to my own satisfaction. One of the mysteries is how close dreams are to a modern computer! Inputs, outputs, programming and sources and supply of energy are so similar that anyone not familiar with how computers work can't come near to understanding dreams. There is also the quantum nature of life to consider!
As to the question of Mysteriousdreamer; every part of the dream is dreamt for a definite reason and to perform a definite function.
The dreams were a response to what he or she was thinking in the the sleep.
Cheers Wolfjk
