Seems that an very biblical or Christian interpretation to a non-Christian's dream is bound to tangle up in communication problems. A big list of biblical references to someone who isn't familiar with or maybe even has never read the bible is going to read like gibberish, and they probably don't have the time to become a bible student just to figure out what was said.

Imagine if a Christian were to ask for a dream analysis, and was answered by, for instance, a Hindu who quoted references from the Ramayana and the life of Shiva? While these might have deep meaning to someone familiar with the relevant literature, belief, and all its connotations, it will probably leave the average Christian scratching his head and trying to pronounce the names.

What if the answer had come not from a Hindu, but a person from a religion with diametrically opposed beliefs? What if it's someone from a religion Christianity tends to traditionally view as an opponent, such as a Muslim, Wiccan, or Voudon? Satanism is also a recognized religion. Is there a possibility that a Christian might not only be puzzled by those religious references, but instead of finding meaning in the answer become offended by having had alien views pushed on them uninvited? Is there a possibility that a Christian interpreting a dream for someone from one of those religions, or for an irreligious person, might offend that person with an equally uninvited religiosity? Is the dream analysis being offered to help the querant find meaning that is most relevant to them, or for the analyzer to seek meaning for him/herself?

For sake of clarity and communication, it's probably a good idea for someone with a strong religious bias in any direction to leave out direct references to religious literature, figures, and beliefs if only to ensure that what they're saying is properly understood and openly received. Unless, of course, the post that you're responding to has led you to believe in some way that the poster would best find meaning in the language of a shared religion.

Default Thank you

We all need a bit of love and understanding. Inner peace is the only peace we can work on..
