| General Chit-Chat Kind of like a lounge, just come in and talk about anything at all. Relax, this is like the water cooler at the office. |

I dont' know whats going on, but I kept finding myself waking up often at the hour of hour after 2am.
I went to sleep at 10pm, when I woke up, I check the clock its 2am then went back to sleep, woke up again and its 3am then woke up by my alarm at 4 am Its been happening for a week now, I dont' know why, its probably cause I'm subconsciously wanting to wake up early, or something wrong. |

4 AM is an unearthly hour to set your alarm at. It is at odds with the natural rythm of life. I guess you just sterted on a new job and wooried about being late. There may be other causes but I think the main culprit is the 4 AM alarm. Cheers Wolfjk

Hi Fantasticpow,
I can think of a a couple of possibilities that this could happen. It could be you have anxieties within you. Do you ever have any thoughts like "I don't want to fall behind again", or it could be you don't want to forget certain things and you are constantly at a state of alert. Second reason that I think of, is the alignment of your posture during sleep. Is your bed suitable for you? What about the room setting, do you feel okay about that? Do you think changing any of thing around would help you feel less tensed? Pray also for protection in your dwelling. Sometimes, our body pick things up with the conscious that it does not agree with, such as, drugs, alcohol or other foul things that are chemical toxic to human body. Hope you sleep well soon, RM Last edited by rmahil : 07-06-2007 at 07:18 PM. |

Hi again, its been 2 weeks and i'm still having the same problem. Every single night I find myself waking up around 2am, 3am. I know I'm not giving my body the message to wake up around those time, I really do need my sleep. I'm just conused to why at 2am and almost exactly. I dont' think its health related issue, because work out, eat healthy with good diets. As to sleeping, I really need my rest, but my body is waking me up at 2am isn't good, I have an alarm that is timed to wake me up at 4am, but my body seems to have its own self timer.

What time do you go to bed? Some people need less sleep than others. Any time between 5 - to 10 hours sleep is normal. If you went to bed later befor you had this job it is likely that your body clock adjusted to it. However it is also possible that waking up at 2AM is caused by something you eat or take before going to bed. If you have a stressful job, that would cause some digestive problems. Try to experiment. I think I fixed the problem, perhaps I didn't understand how to self time my inner clock. But after a few prayer and talking to self, I manage to wake up when the alarm rings.
