General Chit-Chat Kind of like a lounge, just come in and talk about anything at all. Relax, this is like the water cooler at the office.

How could I dream More? [Almost everynight]?

Default Oily dreams

Hi Jon,
Quote:
Indeed, Wolfjk. Eucalytus Oil can have odd effects. Especially if you put some drops in a bowl of hot water, place a towel over your head, and inhale deeply! [No wonder Koalas look so dopey.] But this is one of the few effective ways I've found of alleviating my catarrh problems
On one occasion when I had a bad cold and used the Eucalyptus Oil, I had dream about row meat and music.
The dream had some connection with some Frances Bacon paintings I seen in an art gallery. If you are familar with F. Bs painting perhaps you will know about the purple flesh coloured abstracts hung on hooks. The dream was accompanied by a slow beat music of two notes: low C and F, repeating until I woke up.
Cheers Wolfjk

Smile

Hi. When I studied Art History [1890-1990 period] at College I came across his work, and frankly.... I don't care how much those paintings fetch, because, if I could afford one, I wouldn't have it in my house!!

Cheers, Jon.

Talking Dreams

I think dreams should just come naturally. For me dreams seem to come to me when I am most stressed and sometimes they calm me down. Sometimes dreams is just our very creative minds deciding to work overtime. So my suggestion, think about a certain topic, person, or something other before you sleep and you should probably have a dream about it.

In my own experience before almost every night I used to dream, had many disturbed nights and sometimes whole night I couldn't sleep. What I did was a dream diary in my bedside. Everytime I wake up I immediately write down my dream, while writing my dream became more clear. If i can't sleep I write poems, many of my dreams I also wrote into poems until I manged to write over 400 poems/prose and haiku. My first poetry book of 424 pages was published on December 2006. Dream just occur unexpcted anytime in our sleep. If I have a problem or planning something what I'm doing is to pray before I sleep and asked God and my guardian angel to guide me, to tell me in my dream what to do. When I was about to sign a contract in publishing my book I asked a sign ( flowers and bridge)before I sleep that if this is the (name of publisher) will publish my book. That night I dreamed of a company which is close to the bridge and orchids plantation. This company was sold out and the contract has just signed but after signing there was another buyer. When I woke up I was sure of my publisher but I knew after signing another publisher also wants to publish my book. I signed the contract in the morning then in the afternoon another publisher emailed me that she wants to publish my book. Hope you will learn something in my own experience.

[quote=JON;19576]However first I have to tell you that the best dreams are the ones you don't remember!

I would have to disagree on that one. Yah sometimes you don't rember them but I remember quite a few of mine.

Default vitamins

My husband is a chiropractor, and has a patient who had a hard time sleeping...and cannot ever remember having a dream in years. So he put her on a vitamin called Min-chex from the company standard process (only sold thru dr offices) But some vitamin stores carry them anyways. Well, o our patient came back the next week and said she takes them before bed, and she has been dreaming again! Not only that, but she can remember them too. Hope that helps.
