Can people meet in dreams?

i dream a lot for some reason...somtimes dreams are very vivid, and then sometimes they are very vague. I think from time to time if i am actually not my self in dreams...if i am another person dreaming about a situation that is going to happen to them... i find myself being in situations more so than i would like that have that dashavue (spelling) feeling...almost on a daily deffinalte weekly basis... im not a holly roller by any means, but i did talk to my sisters husband about it on a road trip we where on...and i was driving and started to have a what i call freak out session... he started talking to me about some where in the bible where it says something about a 6th since.. not sure where it is in there but i belevied him... he said a lot of people have a 6th since...meaning its not the same in everyone... one person could have one since...and another person could have something totally different and unrelated since...but who knows...i feel like im going crazy somtimes the way my mind rolls on and on with thoughts...who knows.?

In 1985, the summer my parents split up, I had these vivid dreams about people I didn't know. I would spend like a week each looking around for them and after not seeing them anywhere (i.e, the mall, etc) I would end up having another dream. In the summer of 1986 I met all four of these people at summer camp. Three of them were from the same town and one was from another. So I am either crazy, or it really does happen. Unfortunately I stopped having vivid dreams like this when I was in my early 20's. Sometimes I wish I still travelled at night like I used to. Guess life is just too hectic and stressful. Any suggestions on how to get it back would be appreciated.

my hubby claims he met me in a dream before we got together.He was living the wild life back then and close to killing himself.He claims in the dream I came along and saved his life.
I did come along later and made him quit everything he was doing then .I do think I saved his life since I never was into the things he was into.So I think you can meet someone in a dream.

My (now ex) boyfriend had a dream that we broke up, and within a few weeks or so, we did break up. So I believe to a certain extent that things can happen in dreams that happen in real life.=) But I'm not sure about the whole "meeting" your soulmate in your dream. I find it possible however.
