In my experience, I have seen demons and I've seen spirits, people's energies, and angels ( I have even been able to see magnetic and electrical fields on occasion, with no assistance whatsoever, my brain seems hardwired to see energy fields). Most people don't see spirits, more often, they hear them or see the effects of them. You may not see a spirit, but it can communicate in settle ways instead of overt ways. Most people hear phantom footsteps, furniture moving when no one else is around or hear voices. So don't be disappointed! You may see objects move on their own, feel a strong emotion that is not logical to experience at the time, or feel yourself being touched, and all of these are valid supernatural experiences. Beware! A spirit maybe appear harmless only to let your guard down and when you do, you find out its a demon! You can get a digital voice recorder and try getting an EVP (electronic voice phemonon) to see if it can pick up spirit voices you and I can't hear. When I was 4, I bled to death and was dead a full half hour, and spontanosuly was ressurected from the dead...no medical intervention was possible so it was a supernatural event...and ever since, I seem to have half a presence in the spirit world and half in this! Hopefully nothing that drastic will have to happen to you for you to experience spirits, and most people don't!

some people are "senstive" but that doesnt mean you cant see a ghost anyway if you do see a ghost be careful sometime not all is what it seams ghost can be dangerous and also be demons in disguise they are ways to contact the dead but that can be really dangerous you could end being huanted by something evil oh dont ever use a ouija broad they arent toys

Ghosts are not the spirits of the departed, that's for certain. Otherwise everyone would see them. What they are is 'recordings' of events, or peoples' lives. The more traumatic the occurance, it seems, the stronger the 'imprint' left behind.

Buildings are very good 'recorders', stone in particular as it contains silica. Every building is 'tuned' to a slightly different 'frequency'. [I think the Great Pyramid at Giza's is F Sharp [or 16 Hertz]. Which, oddly, is the same as waves and earthquakes!

People who are 'sensitive' [on a similar 'wavelength'] will 'pick up' the 'transmission' from that particular building. And the brain converts the 'signal' into an image. A bit like TV, I suppose.

I hope that helps. If it's any conciliation, I can detect 'atmospheres' in buildings, and whether it's 'haunted', or not. But I've not seen a ghost. Yet....
