Since my husband and I have moved to our new home, well it was built in 1956, we have been having a lot of dreams. Well I should say just a lot more dreams we remember. I would say we are each having like four seperate (themed) dreams a night. All of which are strange things, they are scramble, sometimes we can piece them together. Like last night I kept changing what seemed time periods and husbands, but they were all the same person. My husband dreamed of a train crash and he kept calling the police and they would do nothing. I often dream of random children coming in and out of my room. Nothing is very disturbing or nightmare like. Just any thoughts would be great.

Hi-
There are many gaps in the narrative. Gaps are spaces where "things" come and go that are never quite spoken. A place like this -a space like this- comes and goes nowhere. It where's the "no" and what "no" no's and "knows". Eliot called this space the negative capabiltiy through which psyche turns nature over into language. The predominant characteristic of this zone is movement. It's elemental form through which images play and get played is air or spiritus. The images are like ghosts but they are not ghosts. They are images of moving, both disturbed psyche and having literally moved to a new home. This is what your paragraph seems to say (to me.) With that in mind I went back to your short paragraph to reexperience it. I now see the following images 1. movement to new home set against the home you both once "knew" 2.four-fold dream nature; scrambled, sometimes pieced together (broken images of wholeness) a desire to return to "wholeness"/i.e. home 3.a changing-time invoking changing coniunctios (husbands) and a fear of psychic changes in a husband 4. A correspondence in husband's dream calls for help in the presence of phantom derailment (train wreck). He is calling up the police. You are considering this as an example of a core response in communal psyche and as an example to the forum of what you want to get at that you cannot talk about directly. The dream images are images of an unsayable. The police-images can be regarded as the order-keepers of the shared psyche of your life-in-common. Your paragraph tries to convey this "sense" to us now. 6. The children are the little people of this psyche. They are unrested like the rest of you; they are not yet at home here -but not "out of order". They are good kids, not causing trouble. One more thing. It struck me that you posted in general chat and not in the dream interpretation section because you know you are not looking for an interpretation for a particular dream. You are trying to get a handle on a soul nature that has to do with distinguishing between a wholeness factor and the awareness of a completeness factor -something missing that breaks things up as they are because it wants to move toward the striving of something other and larger elsewhere. This psychic factor makes being here and now in complete by way of the value of losses and lostness (i.e. the incomplete) in psychic (w)holeness. Bless, mythopoet |

Hi Dapney,
Perhaps the house feels a bit strange at first. There are new surroundings, probably more noise and external influences. If you took on more finacial responsibility that may cause more worries. All in all, dreams are the responses to what is happening to you in sleep. They reflect your every day cares and all the new influences. Cheers Wolfjk
