Licia, your panic attacks almost sound like the throw-back to early life trauma. A substance that has helped my wife considerably is the prescription medication selegiline nitrate (and not the pill) under the trade name of Selepryl. She purchases it from the Internet as her GP is unaware of its off-label benefits so declines to provide it. It is a very safe substance but a tad expensive although worth the outlay. What she has become aware of is that whenever she takes any kind of foods made from grains prior to retiring then she awakens in the morning with a migraine that seems worse than a sever hangover from the previous night's binging. I hope this little bit of information helps.

Sometimes people are successful with the alteration of their diet to prevent migraines....sometimes they are not. If it is unbearable, see your doctor. They can give you an injection of Nubain or Toradol for the pain and either Vistaril or Phenergan for the nausea. You can also get a prescription for oral medications that work well. Maxalt is one that we give alot.

hello, i just wanted to say how much I feel for you with your migraines. I too have suffered severe migrains which often lasted for days at a time and go on and off for weeks. No body can understand how awful unless you experience them yourself! I tryed all meds, herbal, hypnosis, diet, everything untill at one point I was taking 12 tablets a day and on a horrible diet and constantly obsessing and worrying which made them much worse and eventually lost my job. I stopped all that and dont get many these days I have decided mine are caused by stress or change in my life. But I thought you would like to know that the one thing that really helps prevent them for me is sleep/eat patterns. If i wake up around the same time every day and eat around the same times each day I dont get them. I have also learnt to stop worrying constantly about getting them because that doesnt help! And also I find breathing in and out deeply for about 20 minutes at the first sign of migraine really helps bring down the pain levels. Hope some thing works for you. I really do. Good luck.

If, as you say, you suffer from migraine everyday, then your GP should refer you to a neurologist. I used to suffer from sporadic bouts of migraine and so I know how bad it can be. All I could do was lie (almost) motionless, in a darkened room and pray that I would fall asleep and that it would be gone when I awoke. But everyday? I cannot imagine what you must me going through. Aritra, I sincerely hope that you are relieved from this complaint very very soon and lead a normal life again. I wish you well. Take care.

PS : A friend of mine also suffers from fairly regular attacks of severe migraine. Her doctor prescribed for her IMMIGRAN : it is a medication you inject yourself -- very much like the diabetics and their insuline jabs. It works very well for her.

Stay away from diet soda- artificial sweetner in products are bad for your brain, toothpaiste with floride - read the label it says if you swallow call poison controll center because floride is toxic to the brain and I'm serious about this go read the label on yor toothpaiste if you don't beleive me! Aluminum is an ingrediant in alot of deoderants this is also harmful,I suggest green tea, and contact the great physcian Jesus Christ he's called a healer. there maybe other contributing factors like stress, lack of sex, mold or pollen in the home. Contaminated water supply. I'm praying for God to bless you in all ereas of your life, as I don't know what ereas are contributing to this migrane you get.
