Default Computer program to read out text

I have just placed the following file on the internet

Free File Hosting Made Simple - MediaFire

Its a little computer program which I designed myself that can help with dream interpreting. Its quite useful in general as well if you are like me and do not like to read from computer monitors.

All you do is select the text that you want to read(using the mouse). Then press ctrl+c to copy the text to the clipboard. Then simply run this program. It will read out any text copied to the clipboard.

You will have to unzip the program first though. Just save the zip file to the hard disk and then right click on it. Then choose extract all. Then just save the program to somewhere on your computer and run it.

It is actually possible to understand what dreams mean. Simply look at the effects on people who have gone without sleep for a long time period. If you are deprived of sleep for several days then you will slip into madness. The reason for this is that sleep and dreams are linked to vital brain functions.

During the day we store up new thoughts and experiences within short term memory blocks. So if we are deprived sleep these become overloaded. The mind has no more space to store new feelings so these are merely forgotten.

During sleep vital brain waves emerge. Beta waves and theta waves are only ever detected within the brain at night. These help us process through those new feelings and experiences stored in short term memory. We integrate these new feelings into long term memory blocks. So if you do not sleep then you will not be updating your thoughts. You will not be building a bigger picture.

Sounds interesting.

What platforms? Vista compatible? Mac? Memory requirements? Cost?

Just curious. Used to be windows had a thing you could download called "sam" that would do that. ViaVoice from IBM also did this, but it's not free.

MY short attention span makes these kinda hard to use, I drift in and out while listening, but when reading I can take up where I left off when I drift "out" then back in. Does that make sense?

Anyway, good luck with your software.

Probably windows XP only. It definitely will not do macs. It will probably work on 98.

Its free. I understand what you say about losing concentration. But dreams are usually quite short. even the long ones are only a couple of paragraphs.

Windows vista will maybe have text to speech software written in.

Microsoft sam and mike and mary are the people who do the reading. The english guy is best. he sounds like stephen hawkins the science guy. He is clearest.

I got a text to speech program thats similar on ebay for a dollar,. But I am not certain of it. I think its actually a keylogger.

This one I made myself. There ain't any viruses on this.

Its best to see how dreams relate to certain themes. For instance fighting often links to frustrations and resentments. Instead of trying to make blanket judgments about the dream just see if you can make any loose association with resentful emotions. Were you resentful the day before? Was someone else resentful and frustrated the day before? Just see if you can make any loose association with that word. Also fighting can link to issues where you are really facing a struggle in life. So try to link a dream to struggles. Were you facing a real struggle the day before? Has life been a real struggle recently? Have you been asked to really put more effort into some task? Try to think in a very loose way to link some issue to the dream. If you make a connection then try seeing how the other dream symbols fit the dreams meaning. Dream symbols can have many meanings. Its a matter of working through the various meanings.

These pages are especially helpful in showing you how to interpret dreams
