Buzzing expereince on body while seeing visions.

Just curious to know who else out there have these buzzing experiences when experiening visions. I been having them for some years now and it always gets to me. I have regular dreams and visions, but these expereinces seem to cause a strong buzzing noise on my head and neck. I find myself literally squirming around on the bed or couch trying to deal with it. As long as my eyes stay shut I see all types of things. I dont try to induce this type of experience, it just happens at random times. Its wierd. I have started to relax with it and endure it because Im nosey and want to see some things. Anyone else out there experience this? Pleas share what you have learned or found out. I am curious and find no answers. I figure it is just another level of the supernatural but what does it mean and can we stir ourselves up to be in the mode to recieve this way?

What you describe is "hypnogogic imagery" Most people have it sometime or other! It is the process of goin to sleep and mentally relaxing or "letting go" after a buisy day. Some people experience jerks in the muscles, noises, knocks, and hearing names. Some experience the buzzing. If there is bit of tension or pressure in life it is more noticable.

It sounds similiar to what one would experience when beginning to have a voluntary or involuntary out of body experience...
Does it ever accompany a sudden "jerk" or jolt and slight disorientation for a moment?

Sometimes there is a shaking. The buzzing sensation is a real stong tickling like sensation. I guess its from the vibrating. Its like a drilling.

To be honest, it really does sound like your trying to have an OBE, even if you're not intentionally aware of it....

Answer me this...

When it happens, have ever just "let go" and see where all this would take you?

Most of the time we end up chickening out at the last moment due to fear and confusion as to what is happening....It took me years to adjust to the sensation that you're talking about (if it is indeed, an OBE)...
Do you remember if there is a specific kind of dream that usually follows these kind of sensations?

Flying or driving, for example....

Ive had an OBE without the buzzing before. I used to jerk myself to snap out of it when I expereince the buzzing. I was unsure of it and did not want to see nothing demonic or real crazy. Now when it happens, I tell myself, OK, I should be use to this by now and try real hard to relax and deal with the buzzing sensation as long as I can so I can see some things. It might be important. I do see dreams after this expereince but I also see visions while the buzzing is happening as long as I keep my eyes closed. I have even kinda opened my eyes and then closed them back and continue to see things. I guess the buzzing stops once I open my eyes completely. Yes, I have had the flying experiences and driving. There have been a few times while I am sitting on the couch and just thinking and the sensation would creep up on me, it wont be strong like it was while expereincing the full blown experinces but I can feel it lightly on the back of my head.

Some of the things I end up seeing in this state is very prophetic about people and even lets me know whats going on with them.

I have asked folk in the church about it but none of them experience this. You get the cross face look at times so I dont say nothing. People act like they dont want nobody to experience nothing that could be deep, they want to be the ones with, "the supernatural experience" and not you. Its crazy and makes me sick, thats why I dont deal with them to tough. I feel comfortable talkin about it here as I dont know anyone and dont have to see anyone. That sounds like the master plan. With most church folk that I have encountered it seems to be only dreams with them, at least thats all they are telling me. I know this thing goes deep and it makes me more comfortable to talk with folk that experience this and fins out how they deal with it what they have learned. I do not induce any of these expereices. I dont know how folk who claim to do it get it done. I thought that it would be wrong to do so. Ive heard of people sending themselves places for the wrong reason. I of course would only do it for the right reasons and follow what the scriptures says. I know that there were translations that took place. I beleve the bible when it says the deep calleth the deep. This to me is indeed deep.

Well I have no clue what you are talking about even though I have heard about OBE.. Is it bad to have an OBE, also I was wondering if you would know what it means if you got jittery. Like if you are completely relax had not had any sweets, it was not cold, just nothing to cause you to feel jittery and your heart had this really light feeling about it and your hands were tingling and as it got down your arms the tingling feeling fades away and you seem to have an unreasonable amount of energy and no cause of it. Do you know what would cause a sensation like this.... I know this sounds weird, but I have a feeling like this only once and only one person noticed and he told me that I needed to calm down and get myself under control for some reason. He was a friend who I heard talking about OBE. I know its really strange, but did that feeling I had have anything to do with this subject?

Sable, it's not bad. It's perfectly natural and happens to all of us, even you, during dreaming at times...Even if we are not consciously aware of doing it.
