| General Chit-Chat Kind of like a lounge, just come in and talk about anything at all. Relax, this is like the water cooler at the office. |

My husband talks in his sleep almost every night!
He is a very friendly and honest person... doesn't keep negative thoughts inside him, always happy and joking, not excessively emotional. He talks about all kinds of things. He mostly doesn't remember his dreams the next morning. Any way to stop this? |

Ya, it can be quite funny, except when it ruins my sleep! :-)
He does stuff too... like once he was holding a small radio player tight as if someone was trying to pull it away from him, and saying "leave it, leave it!!" Lots of instances like this... where he talks and moves his hands and stuff. Thankfully, not many instances of sleep-walking. |

I have a lot of abandonment issues...basically, I have a lot of issues PERIOD hehe! So, sometimes, in my sleep I'll say, "Don't go" begging people to stay with me or other people will tell me that in dreams. I have this need for attention and I guess sometimes in the dream I literally scream for someone to listen to me or hear me.
It seems like I couldn't communicate because some people from my past wouldn't return my letters or phone calls. For whatever reason, they couldn't be there for me emotionally, and I kind of blamed myself and thought something was wrong with me when I should've seen that it wasn't my fault. I guess I started to become very distant myself and had a lot of trouble in turn connecting with others on an emotional level...I just figured these people wouldn't like me if they knew the real me. ![]() |

Quote:
A lot of people talk in their sleep. One can even have a conversation with some sleepers without waking them up. Quote:
The slightest touch or eternal influence can change the dream. You will find that if you put your hand gently on his arm or shoulder and apply some pressure towards turning him over, after some time he will change his sleeping position and stop talking. Most people try to talk after their mouth is dry. If make him turn to sleeping on his side that will help. Dont try to apply too much pressure, just sensing your hand on his arm or shoulder will make him move. Altrnatively ask him some questions! That will bring him near to waking and he will realise he is talking and might stop. Cheers Wolfjk
