Question drugs and dreams

Hello again, I have a question.
I smoke marijuana..i'd say..frequently. I was just curious if this would cause any problems with dreaming/dream recall? Please reply with answers!!

Hi,
Many drugs make dreams more vivid and more violent. The reason for this is that drugs interfere with the electro-magnetic balance in the brain. In other words they cause noise in the brain and the dreams have to be louder to be heard.
The problem is that they may destroy some brain cells in some people.
With heavy drug users, the dreams get gradually more vivid an d violent and eventually the the brain can't understand them. That is the end!
Cheers Wolfjk

physiologically taking marijuana can cause harm to health. Psychologically it can stimulate the subconscious mind. Any way taking marijuana is bad as your main conscious should be active and not your subconscious mind.

I've been smoking weed for years and while it can mess up your short term memory i don't think you should have any problems recalling your dream than someone who doesn't smoke. Some of my dreams i can remember days after they happened and others are just a vague memory. I think it really depends on how vivid it was to you and if you took the time to try to really remember it. So i don't think you should worry.

Of course, the best way to dream is just to go to sleep naturally without any influence from any substance, including alcohol. But being as a dream is really just a more heightened awareness of the spiritual plane you actually exist on all the time, you're going to experience it anyway. The less conscious you are of the physical world, the more conscious you are of your actual world, which is your individual spiritual plane.

I would think the main difficulty would be in trying to dictate the dream afterwards for interpretation. At that time, if you were high, you might muddle the dictation. I knew a guy who smoked all the time; he was never actually high. He was extremely aggitated if he didn't smoke it--that's why he smoked it. Whereas if I were to take a single hit, I'd be high.

Don't you think that he was "extremely agitated" because he was craving for the drug? He smoked it because he got hooked on it. That is one of the dangers of starting to smoke it. The other is loss of brain cells.

I'm not sure about the loss of brain cells, per se, but certainly, his body was dependent on the depressive effects of the THC.

Cheers,

Gordon

If Marijuana destoryed brain cells, the government would have pictures and add campains running rampant, as they do with everything else. Have you ever seen a picture of a damaged brain caused solely by Marijuana? No, because there is no such thing.

Anyway, I have noticed that if I smoke A LOT of pot before bed, I can't recall dreaming in the morning, and if I do it is very vague and fuzzy.
If I only smoke a little it just helps me get to sleep and I dream very well.

Hi,
Smoking tobacco started out as harmless, drinking alcohol was thought to be harmless, yet the first causes strokes, heart attacks and cancer, while drinking causes liver damage, breaks up families and causes violence.
If you think smoking pot is harmless, you need your head seen to!
It is already causing you to dream too much! look

Cheers Wolfjk
