Default My deceased father.....

So my dad passed away when I was 11 years old... never really found closure in it, just tried to forget about it and go on. I just had a dream about him last night and I walk into what I believe is an airport or train station. I see him through the sliding doors and approach him with a friend. I remember in the dream going nuts that my father was alive. I look at my buddy and grab his cell phone to take a picture as evidence that my dad is alive. He immediately gets up after glancing at me and walks away. I try to snap a shot but to no avail. I try to follow him and he turns a corner and disappears. I suddenly wake up and that's pretty much that. I've checked some dream analysis sites and it all says I should be worried about a big step in my life and to be cautious or to find closure. I am going to school as a journalism major and my father was a writer. Alot of his works were denied by several and it put him in a bitter state before his passing.... what is this dream telling me???.... please help

Hi,
Relax! Dreams are about what is happening in your sleep. your dream uses your apprehension when you enter an airport or a train station. Waiting for a plane or a train, contemplating the journey engages your attention.
The above dream was dreamt simply to wake you up from sleep.
Sometimes when we are under some stress or tired, we need a dream with a dramatic storyline to wake us. "I suddenly wake up and that's pretty much that" That is exactly what the dream wanted you to do!
Cheers Wolfjk

Hi drumzlab,

In your dream, you are in an airport or train station to let you know your father's death was really a journey, not a cessation of existence. Death is a doorway to a new place! A place where the only way we can visit for a time is through dreams, though we may well meet the loved one again in the future. Your picture is your memory of him being alive in this dream. That is what he wanted you to know: that he's alive. I expect he left so quickly because he knew he frightened you. That is a normal response to visits from the dead for people who are not used to it happening. For some of us, it happens so much, the fear is no longer a factor, and the visits may last longer. I think his turning a corner is just another way to say that he's still alive, but out of reach for now. Still, he's watching over you a bit, and wants you to know he's okay, to help you understand that death is a transition, not an ending.

I hope that helps!

I'm new and this is my first post here, so first of all I'll say hi!

Drumzlab,

My dad passed away 7 years ago, in a very sudden way (we just found him dead one morning, and he hadn't been visibly sick before dying), and I still dream about him. We didn't have a good relationship.

When I dream about him, I usually meet him at home (only once we were together in a moving bus). In my dreams, I usually remember he's dead, and so it feels weird to find him alive. Still, as much as I remember that he's dead, sometimes it seems natural that he's alive again (note: I'm not a religious person, but I'm open to the idea of an afterlife). We usually end up fighting, as we often did when he was alive.

Well, I KNOW I need a closure. And I also know that my dad and I had a terrible relationship, and that I'm still trying to get over that fact.

Now, my cousin has dreamed of planes or horses when she's about to face some big change in her life.

Question: Is it very important to you that your father works were denied?

Gissel

Default The return

Dear Drumzlab: Thats a very good dream you had. I do not believe the dream has any direct relationship to you as far as your personal future goes. Each and every one of us have brain wave frequencies and its quite likely that you had tapped into the identical frequency your father was on. Needless to say the demensional barriers would have prevented any audible communication. There is a possibility that some of the demensions may somewhat meld together as we approach the 2012 date which is basically our solar systems, earths and our galaxys migration from 3 demensional light/radio frequency levels to 5th demensional light/radio frequency levels. The best description of how things will be after 2012 was presented by a Mayan elder. If you are curious the website WWW.Earth changes in our present time.com contains a mayan phrophecy section. That elders statement appears in that group. Best regards
