This is freaking me out!

I met a man about a year ago. He's attractive and all of that, but I didn't feel anything for him at all when we first met, until it happened one night.

It started one night with a dream. In the dream, we were holding each other tightly. He whispered that he loved me and I told him the same. He gave me a heart shaped locket. This first time I brushed it off as just a dream.

The next dream I have is him asking me out on a date and us actually becoming lovers. He made plans to surprise me.

The third dream I had was us meeting in a basement at a party and he held both of my hands and said, "You've been dreaming about me, haven't you?" He smiled, and walked away, leaving me to myself.

The fourth was when I was in trouble and he ran after me to help. He helped to take care of me and make sure that no one was coming after me.

You can see why I am a little confused! Ever since I've had these damn dreams about him, it's made me so shy and nervous around him. Do the dreams mean that we have some sort of strange connection or does it mean something completely different?

i feel that there is obviously some kind of connection between you or else you wouldn't continue dreaming about him.

perhaps you are at a point in your life where you want to begin looking for love and the fact that you are so comfortable around him makes him a logical choice to your mind.

however, without having more background information, i can't offer any further suggestions.

perhaps you should spend some time, alone, meditating, to find out what your heart (or hormones) are trying to tell your mind.
