Default old dreams (looking in Dream journal)

There was a time In my life that I was mostly behind myself.. basically just sitting back and letting whatever drive for the most part.. unless I was speaking to someone like family or friends.

Anyway, I went and looked in my closet last night looking for an old scrapbook from when I was about 15. I found my dream journal from a few years ago.. like back in 2002. I decided to write my song from my dream in there... but this is about another thing.. I found dreams I wrote about and I compleatly do not remember anything about these dreams.. and do not even remember writeing these. I remember writing in my book.. I knew i wrote in it.. but only like a couple dreams do I actually recall.

It is a double sided book one side for night dreams the other for day dreams. On both sides dreams I do not even recall writing about or even dreaming.

Has anyone else gone through this?.. I mean I remember dreams from years and years ago in almost complete detail mostly. I use to keep this right next to me while I sleep so I can record my dreams if I remember them when I wake.. The ones I recall the less are ones that are written in worse penman ship than the others I do recall.. Its like I scribbled it in there...

Could it be that I might have been half a sleep if not still a sleep when I wrote some?

I've done this. Some things I have written down, I am like hu? Did I write that? I don't remember dreaming that. Other dreams are ones I have never written down on paper but have stayed in my head for many many years. I remember the details of them as if they were dreamed 5 minutes ago.

Some of my stuff I have written in the dark, or written in the light but with my eyes still closed. Completely unreadable with lines written over the top of other lines.....
I remember seeing some actor or musician interviewed once and he said he had a dream one night about something that would really help the problems in the world. He wrote it down on a piece of paper by his bed then went back to sleep. When he woke up the piece of paper said something completely silly like peanut butter or ice cream (can't remember what he'd written now just it was rediculous and it was a food). I had to laugh because I've done that too many times myself.

haha that is funny. I can't help but think that's what i was doin on some of these lol xD.

Like one says "I was walking down the street" then its just like "scribble scribble"
monkey said "scribble scribble"

lol.

My friends husband had been extremely tired one day.. I swear he was half asleep. He keep mumbling. Then we were talking about the cats and he said something about the cat being at duds n suds lol which is a laundromat here were I live. It had NOTHING to do with what we were saying.. and it was so random that I couldn't help but laugh at it.. He continued to do that for like an hour. He got mad at us cause we were laughing at him and he didn't know why.

Default Sleeptalking

My brother once tried waking me up from a drunken slumber (after only a couple hours sleep & being up most of the night partying & saying goodbye) so we could go to the airport and catch our plane, and he said I was sitting up & my eyes were open but I clearly wasn't at all awake, saying stuff like "Who are you and what do you want with me?"

Another time I had a friend staying w/ me, sleeping on the couch every night after his old room-mate got both of them evicted, and this kid would often start talking in his sleep as I was in the room, on the computer. So I made a text file & whenever he was especially talkative, & I'd type the phrases I could understand to tell him about & laugh about with him later. I wonder if I still have it... (and if that old laptop still works) It was just senseless, funny stuff like a sentence arguing with his boss about something to do with computers, then "Oooh, bunnies! Did you see the end of that?!?" It wasn't very long that he was staying w/ me though, so even if I still have this file, I don't have a whole lot of these quotes in it. Now that I'm studying dreams, I kind of wish I still lived with someone that talks in their sleep.

Default Sleep Talking...

My ex used to talk in his sleep. Once, I was pregnant with our first child... yikes... that was 1968! We lived in a house that was half trailer, half house built onto the trailer... odd little place. Our bedroom was part of the trailer, and had just enough room to walk around the bed, and the bathroom was in one corner of the room, right up against my side of the bed. Being pregnant, I was up a lot and in the bathroom, so one night, I was sitting there, and I hear him, "Iris, Iris, you're going to be so mad at me!" I'm like what??? So I said, "Why?" He said, "I just spilled a blueberry pie all over my pillow!" I was laughing so hard, and told him he was dreaming... and to go back to sleep!

Another time, we lived in Navy housing, and he was up sleepwalking one night, walking along the walls with his arms raised and patting along the walls with his hands. I watched him a bit, then decided I'd better tell him to get back to bed, and asked him what he was doing. "I'm looking for the hole in the wall with fire in it!" I said, "Just get in bed, go back to sleep, you're dreaming!"

It got weird. He was afraid the Navy would find out he talked in his sleep and he'd lose his security clearance. He worked on submarines, and probably the fire in the wall thing really did have something to do with all the studying he was doing for that job, as everyone on board has to know a lot of trouble-shooting in case of problems when they were at sea.

I don't think I ever talked in my sleep though, not physically. I think I'm yacking with people psychically a lot though, both the living and the "dead."

HAHA lol! blueberry on his pillow.. That would have made me laugh so hard if I was there.

NfoJunkie You remind me of a time. My sister,my Father, and my self moved in to a house. My room did not need any treatment but my sisters room had to be painted and a few other things.. So my sister slept with me in my room. One day she said she got up to go to the bathroom and I looked right at her and said "hello" and when she left i said "goodbye" Then when she came back in i said "hello" again and I think I asked what she was doing and how she was.... I cant remember all of it.. but she ended up talking to me.. and I finally came to and was like .. "what?...who are you talking to?" she said "um you.. you asked me" I told her "no I didn't" .. shes like "YES YOU DID" I told her well I don't remember. She was like "well you must have been sleeping cause I know you said it.. you noticed me get up and walk out and come back.. and you asked me about something.." I was like "whatever i dunno what you talkin about.." she laughed about it.. I still don't really know what she was talkin about.. but I think I slightly recall me looking out when the light was turned on in my room and her getting up.. but I do not recall saying anything... and I thought I went back to sleep..

I have this thing about sensing people.. and if I am asleep I will almost always wake up at even the slightest noise or touch on my door.. I even notice the entrance door of the house sometimes..

I figure I must have been extremely tired and my senses woke up but my main conscious fell back asleep lol.

Default The dream journal

Dear writer: I liked your questions about the quality of dream versus quality of recording the dream issue. I do not believe there is necessarily strong connection between the two. The reason I am thinking that way is that none of us have absolute voluntary control over our own energy levels. Just reading your material reminded me of the song "Reflections" by the supremes, which had a haunting quality to it. There are good haunts and good possessions as well as bad haunts and bad possessions with a lot more in between. You are alluding to the most deep dark secret any person who has a lot of experience in life knows full well. Ther best love or lover is always in your imagination. What spoils the real adventure of love in real life is an item known as gravity. As we grow older the gravity intensifies. I had some real fun with this one. I hope theres no stipulation on having fun on this site.
