Dear Irisravenstar: Nice to hear from you again. I certainly do know what happened to Sean David Morton. To borrow from the words of Goeth "Talent is produced in solitude, whereas character is produced in the stream of life" . More simply put Sean David Morton was trained by highly skilled Tibetan monks in meditative practices. When he was living by himself he put a lot of energy into what he had learned. Word got around and he gained a lot of paid subscribers to his publications whichis called the "Delphi Associates". Theres no telling who the associates are or were. Needless to say with the suddenly popularity and sudden increase in wealth would naturally lead to self adsorption. Things like getting married, travel, property acquisition , and putting on an extra 150 to 200 lbs. In other words a fully self respecting person moved into the cultural mindset you are nobody unless somebody loves you. Where is in truth most people dependent on self validation from others lose their self respect in the process. There was a huge energy swap from the time, and space necessary for investigation and talent refinement to the character area. And you cannot have it both ways. The reason you are good at what you do on Dreamcentral is because you put a lot of time and energy into it. Theres no doubt in my mind you have to put a lot of other items off to maintain your talent and stature in this area. I myself put my own friends off to keep up-to-date on dream central. Ah, thank you for the history on Sean David Morton! I have found with others that when they get greedy, it definitely seems to corrupt spirituality and the validity of what comes *through* them. Part, I think, is because they want to make that buck, and if nothing comes through, they will simply make something up to please the client or audience. It's too bad, really, especially if he was initially very accurate in his readings. It's one reason I don't involve myself with money for either dreamwork or psychic skills. Another person like that is Frederick "Rama" Lenz. I was once attending a meditation group that was led by one of his students. They kept talking all the time about how he glowed, brighter than a lightbulb, while meditating, and that apparently made everything okay. Many of the parents of these young people were furious, and waged lawsuits against him both for the money issues, and for alleged sexual abuse, etc. Lenz committed suicide, and the last I knew his followers were trying to restart his ministry so they, instead of the Audobon Society, would get all the money he'd accumulated. Really, a sad story. He wrote a ridiculous book, denounced by real Buddhists, called _Surfing the Himalayas_, and pretty much gave American-style "Buddhism" a bad name.
