I brought a daysaver today and when i got off at my last stop i saw someone waiting to pay for the bus he was going on..... I went up to him and asked him if he wanted my daysaver as Id finished with it...... he said nothing and just looked at me like id spat at him....... did i do anything wrong or was he just over reacting?

Well people often hand on parking stickers in car parks(they just hand it to other drivers as they leave). Parking charges can be prohibitive. Most people take this in a friendly way. It depends where you live. In the big cities people tend to ignore each other. If someone comes up to you you tend to think they just want money. If someone is generally been charitable and friendly then they just are not used to it.

Dear writer: It is difficult to predict either a persons present attitude or their basic demeanor from looking at them. Secondly its not unusual for the nicest people in the world to get put upon by people who mistake kindness for a weakness. A truely caring and generous person, from life experiences has to construct firewalls, to protect a positive attitude. What I believe you were doing to practice one of those random acts of kindness, we hear so much about. You are also making a power statement that no matter how bad things get on the world financial front, most people will reach out to help others. There is a paticular planetary alignment upcoming between Neptune and Jupiter which will serve to promote generosity in all peoples.
