| General Chit-Chat Kind of like a lounge, just come in and talk about anything at all. Relax, this is like the water cooler at the office. |

Just thought I'd introduce myself. I signed up today. I dream quite often. Even when I take quick naps. Sometimes it drives me nuts! I thought this would be a good way to vent my dreams a little. I dream of water, usually the ocean, constantly and I don't know why. My dreams are sometimes prophetic as well. Which use to scare me, but now I think it is a good tool... I guess lol. Anyway, I look forward to using this site and getting to know some fellow dreamers!

Hello and welcome to the site.
This has been very helpful to me since the day I signed up. I think you'll find that there are users from a wide range of beliefs and personalities here and that most of them are honest and helpful. Good luck and I hope the site is as helpful to you as it has been for me. - Manny |

Dear writer: Welcome to the dream Central website. I would like to commend you on such a nice letter of introduction. I can think of one possibility for your connection to water. Water usually presents wave forms. Carlos Castenada made quite a point in distinguising the differece between looking at something and seeing something. In looking at something our attention is focused on concrete physical form. however when seeing a thing our vision is relaxed to a subconcious level wherein we see the unison of energies that create rythum to what we are seeing. One of the great spiritualists Ralph Waldo Emerson also was taken back by the waveforms present with the waves in water, the wind in the trees etc. When I was very young I used to climb into an old cottonwood tree and ride the wind, it was very soothing. These days jucuzzis and massage beds have sort of replaced riding the wind in tree branches, however the concept is identical.

To make a new post, go to this page and click on the "new thread" tab over the threads. http://www.sleeps.com/forums/dream-interpretation/ As far as what I thought about your dream . . . It seems like guilt for the way you've treated your mother in the past or worry over her health (or both) are buzzing around in the back of your head and coming to the surface in your sleep. A few years back, almost every one of my friends had a dream where I died and all in the same month. So, I don't believe that death in a dream always leads to or even means that this person will die. In my case, I think that those people were just worried about my mindset and what sort of things I might have gotten into. Is your mother physically ill or unhealthy right now? Do you feel like maybe you've been unfair or hurtful towards her? You have to ask yourself about all the parts of the dream and come to a meaning that feels right. In the end only the dreamer can know if the interpretation is true. I would start a new thread though, so you can get more(and different) opinions on it. The best thing about this site is the wide range of perspectives and personalities that can see our dreams at different angles, helping us to learn and understand more about them. Good luck. - Manny Last edited by MannyAnalogue : 07-02-2009 at 01:05 PM. |
