At about 5 am today I dreamed I was running in downtown Chicago at a nice pace and with determination (Like the "Just do It" Nike adds from 10 years ago). There was light fog and it was cool and overcast with white, but not dark clouds. I had perfect rows of hard rollers in my hair and wore leggings and a half top and looked in great shape. I was attempting to run to a fancy office building shaped like a spire about 200 ft away when there was a downpour. I wanted to get to the building before the rain so I fell on my knees because I didn't make it before the rain (I wasn't upset about not making it to the building before rain) and ran to the base of the building. I woke up way on my husband's side of the bed and felt great! What is the interpretation of this dream. I read that getting caught in rain means you will gain great wealth?

This is a waking dream! Your subconscious used one of your old experiences of getting wet in the rain to wake you up. It is also possible that you were sweating in bed, or needed to move your legs. In sleep you simulate or make the movements the dream suggests. I wish you great wealth, you may earn it or get lucky! Cheers Wolfjk

Dear writer: You dream somehow reminded me of a old song by grace jones about running in the rain back in the disco era. For you running would not be all that unusual and ain in Chicago is certainly no novelty. What you have to do in these situations is to locate oddities. I can see at least three oddities here. The first is a building shaped like a spire. A spire usually connotates something sacred or holy. Altho most churches have spires, the moslem mosques better represent how this tradition got started. Many thousands of years ago when the angels, announaki, or uastronuats occuppied the planet earth their areas of dwelling usually contained launch platforms for small spaceships so they could rondevau with other craft. Basically the steeples on churches and minarets on mosques are replicas of space vechiles or rockets. The second oddity is that you fell on your knees when the rain overtook you, but were not dissappointed. My intretation of this is tat during our lives we are usually given over to live by rules of tradition, convention. Sort of take the ball and run with it. However in economic times like these times the rules of tradition and convention sort of fall apart. It appears there will be an event on the near event horizon that will overtake you and change your lifestile. In these changing times many people hunker down, but for those of us sensitive to social injustices there is a subconcious call to get out and help those less fortunate. Its a change from physical fitness to an elevation of heart fitness. An opportunity to join a vastly increasing number of lightworkers who are deeply vested in holistic healing, becoming counselers by listening to others, and adopting total strangers and families to share financial resources.

Hi YLRicks,
Falling on your knees prior to reaching a building shaped like a spire suggests to me that this dream is about spirituality in some way, and about ritual cleansing of some sort (Baptism, confession?), which can of course leave one feeling really good and clean! That said, rain is also often traditionally about fertilizing the earth, thus bringing growth and crops, which can lead to greater wealth, though not perhaps so directly as receiving money. We all need to eat! Crops matter! Anyway, the fact you woke up feeling so good points to a positive meaning for you, so I won't go into the negative symbolic meanings of rain. Take care... and you know, if you post these for interpretation in the intepretation section, you might get more responses than here in the chit-chat area! Some people only go there, and it's always much busier. |
