Unhappy can we pick up the end of people's lives in our dreams?

Does anyone believe that we can pick up the end of people's lives in our dreams? I've had some of the worst dreams where I'm looking through the eyes of another person (always a different person, sometime even the opposite sex) and the dreams will always end in their death. Murder, every time. I see what they see, hear what they hear and feel what they feel - both physically and emotionally. I've woken up feeling pain in the exact spot they were injured, crying and screaming. These dreams are unlike any of my other dreams. With these, I can remember every tiny detail from the beginning to the end and they have stayed with me for years. They pop up out of no where - even when things are going well and I'm not stressed. Any thoughts? They're really starting to unerve me.

Hi,
Your dreams are about what happens in your sleep. If you're worried about someone and thinking about him or her you're likely to dream about them.
If you feel pain in your dreams it is your own pain! However dreams often project your pain onto someone else to take your mind off it. You still feel the pain but it is sympathetic pain for the object person. Your subconscious creates the dreams to give you time to rest an recharge. Diversion or deception is often used in dreams to take the sleepers mind off ongoing problems. Both mental and physical.
Cheers Wolfjk

Hi MysticWaters,

Yes, I do believe you can have that experience, even though it's not one of my own. I think that people who have that experience often end up being psychics for police departments or detective agencies.

I'm sure you can find books out there related to the subject. I know the real Alison Dubois, upon whose life the main character in the tv show "Medium" is based, has written books, but am not sure how much she focuses on that particular aspect. But the show is all about that! I hear it's not being cancelled after all, as CBS has bought the rights to it from NBC, so it will still be back in the fall.

Dubois was one of the test subjects of a parapsychologist at the University of Arizona named Gary E. Schwartz. His book was called _The Truth About Medium_, and is about the kind of scientific testing they do on test subject, with double blind and triple blind tests... quite interesting!

If I think of anyone else, I'll let you know.

It may also be that in some way you need to develop empathy for the victims of these kinds of crimes, like maybe you could go into counseling them or their families. I'm sure there could be applications other than police work.

Take care!

No, I haven't had anything bad happen to me in my lifetime. Especially nothing like I'm seeing in the dreams. I know going through stressful situations can cause bad dreams, but like I said, these pop up out of no where. Whether things are going great or not. And they are very much unlike any of my other normal dreams. It's hard to explain, but these are just different than the typical dream or nightmare, very different.

Default Picking up on the demise of another.

Dear writer: There is no question that each of us can pick up on a disease process by looking in the eyes of another person. It would appear that looking into the eyes of your spirit guides you are seeing people whose expiration date is up. In my opinion its time for you to give your spirit guides a kick in the hindquarters and show you some people who are destined to be succesful in life. Spirit guides are suppossed to encourage you in positive ways and warn you of threats to you on the near event horizon. Heres what I would do, I would warn them unless they can show you a locale and timeline where all these deaths are being potrayed, and the causitive factor for all these deaths, they will be replaced with guides who can get with the program. We shall see how they respond to that.

Well each dream is different. Some dreams can be truly precognitive. I once a had a dream. I intensely analysed the symbols. I connected the dream with ONE PERSON. That very day this person died.

But really many dreams simply depict the reality of our emotions. But our emotions are all over the place. One minute we trust someone and then we totally dislike them. One minute we feel happy then we feel sad. Feelings change and dreams record these changes.
