I dream about something or other EVERY NIGHT. I remember each one perfectly, I can remember it a week later as if I had just awaken from the dream. The past SEVEN days, I have had a few different senarios but all the same subject~ PREGNANCY. I am either peeing on a stick and the test reading positive, or I am actually big bellied pregnant. sometimes both in one night. This is freaking me out as I am on birthcontrol religiously! What the heck??? I could understand once in a while to dream something wacky, but 7 days??? in a row??? someone please explain!! something is better than nothing!

I HATE that. who wouldnt? But there is no way on gods green earth I should be pregnant, I take my pill EVERY day like clockwork! I refuse to spend money on a test! its the every day dream thats bothering me!

im sorry about everyone asking how far along you are, i know i would hate that if i wasnt prego. remember that the pill is only 97-99% effective (depending on were you get the facts from)... is there any particular reason you wont buy the test? maybe if you take the test and its negative the dreams might go away??

There is no birth control that's 100% effective! Except abstinence and surgical procedures, of course.
I have three sons. I did always plan to have three children, but I wanted to have them six years apart, like my mother-in-law did, as I liked what she said about having each one in school when the next one was born. Instead, I had my second when the first was three and a half, and the third a year and a half after that! Both of those children came when they did due to failure of birth control, and I was even breastfeeding the second when I got pregnant with the third, which at the time, people believed you couldn't get pregnant while you were still breastfeeding. But I was on birth control too, so it shouldn't have happened. But it's just not failsafe. None of it is. It turned out it was nice for the kids to be close together too, in a different way, because we were a Navy family, and moved so much, that they had each other close in age at least to get through the changes. I had a fourth pregnancy too, but miscarried that one. Anyway, the dreams may be telling you that you are... or it may be you stewing over people asking you that all the time. Nowadays, it's really hard to tell, because it's popular to wear babydoll tops that look like old-style maternity clothes, but then the girls who are pregnant run around in tight-fitting stuff to show off the baby bump. I don't even ask anyone anymore for fear of making a mistake! I'm sorry to hear you're going through that though! There's a little magazine they sell at supermarket counters called "Prevention" and they have great articles on foods they call MUFA's, which help to get belly fat under control if you eat them regularly. The foods are things like peanut butter, olive oil, chocolate, avocadoes... things I love anyway. But you make sure to include a MUFA at every meal, otherwise eating a well-balanced diet. There might be info on it at prevention.com as well. |
