-~I also am always interested in the opinions of the spiritual just as much as the scientific. (By nature I'm mostly logical/scientific in my thinking, but I try to consider all sides & would like to someday find that the spiritual actually exists) I'm fairly new to this site as well, but what I love the most about it is that people from all perspectives & backgrounds are on here just to learn more about dreams & compare ideas/theories. Some are psychology students, studying Frued &/or Jung, some are "Dream Docs" that study this as their profession, & some are just everyday people like me that have always dreamed, but have few to discuss the subject with (most people I know either rarely remember their dreams, or otherwise just don't seem interested).
-~Do you have any experience studying dreams yet, or are you just getting into it? I'd also love to hear more about the dreams you mentioned that came true if you don't mind sharing. How did your friends witness it coming true? I had something like that happen once.

In the dream I was at my childhood home was surprised to see a kid I work with (but had never given a second thought to) was also there. Then I went outside & saw the HUGE black dude from the movie "The Green Mile" chasing me through the remainder of the dream (was also strange to see him cause I hadn't seen the movie in years or even thought about it). Only a day or 2 later I was bored at work & the same kid that was in the dream talked me into helping him finish his work (while I'm contemplating how amazing it is that my dream got every last detail of his appearance correct even though I couldn't have consciously even remembered what color hat he wears), and as I help him out he starts talking about this HUGE black cook that he used to work with that everyone called "Green Mile". That one's had me scratching my head ever since (haven't yet posted the whole dream for interpretation, but I should because it was pretty awesome how I defeated him in the end). If it makes sense to you how something like that happens, please explain, otherwise good luck & I look forward to reading your posts in the future.

Welcome to the group! I'm still pretty new here as well. What are the duties of a paranormal investigator like? Ghostbusters???

I always wanted to be Irish when I was a little girl, though I don't know why, since I didn't know anyone who was, even. I sang Irish songs, tried to do Irish dances, adored St. Patrick's Day. Funny kid, I guess. I am actually American, with a background that is mostly English (and includes Roger Williams, my only known famous ancestor, who founded the state of Rhode Island for religious freedom and founded the Baptist Church in Rhode Island) along with Narragansett (Rhode Island Native American tribe), German Jew (a great-grandmother) and a French-Canadian Roman Catholic somewhere back there. My beliefs actually seem to reflect all of that, so I'm a bit strange at times, or so I'm told.

I only dream spirits, and hear them clairaudiently, never actually see them awake. So far! I'm afraid to say the word "never" because as soon as I do, my guide arranges an experience for me. <G>

I hope you'll be sharing some of your experiences with us!

LOL! That's a wonderful precognitive dream! I get dreams like that all the time, but not always as much detail! I'd love it if you'd post the whole dream, maybe in the interpretation section?

My name is Star and I read what you wrote and I've thought about it a little.
If you are looking for if you are psychic or not I have to say it would probably have to be more than a few dreams. I think there aren't as many psychics as everyone claims (seriously everyone claims it, it gets on my nerves) and one thing people misinterpret often as psychic is seeing something common happen in a dream or then it does. Alot of people also have self fulfilling prophecies that they unintentional make come true. So I'd have to say maybe think about the dream, whatever it is, and figure out if it is self fulfilling prophecy or an every day thing.
