Shadow People

Hearing sounds in dreams like laughter should get a reaction in you the dreamer. If it's a child laughing, usually hearing them makes us smile. We enjoy the sound of children laughing. How did you feel? Or maybe you think you were awake and not dreaming when you hear the sounds. Just wondering. http://www.adreamsteller.blogspot.com

I'm not sure how you are defining "shadow people." Do you mean ghosts or spirits? Do they feel negative, like demonic? You need to define the question better, imo.

I have seen spirits, but only on my "dreamscreen" as I call it. Even if my eyes are open, it's still my dreamscreen (Third Eye) that sees them, and they appear as tiny beings projected out with open eyes, which I often wonder if is the reason for so many beliefs in little people, like faeries. I have never seen any outside of me that appear lifesize, like real people. So when I hear about people seeing that, it always puzzles me too. I understand why they use that on television or movies for spirits though, as it's easier to depict that way on film. Of course if we're asleep and dreaming, things on the dreamscreen feel as if they are life-sized, because we're so caught into it.

The spirits I see are generally deceased family members or others whom I've known. I don't see "demons" as anything but really fakey looking scary masks that flash by sometimes, but never bother me. Apparently, my guide's shielding, as well as my White Light Shielding (I posted that in the nightmare section if you're interested), deters them from actually doing anything, if they are actually anything more than fluff. I don't get hung up on that stuff.

I have seen a photo once a woman took of a ghost cat on the arm of her sofa, but you know, I don't know if that was real or fake either. If real, it was a cool photo!

I guess I trust my own experience first, and try to keep a reasonable balance between open-mindedness and skepticism when I hear stories that don't match my own experience.

It's an interesting topic though!

i acutally hear the laughing during the day or in the evening its very rare to hear it at the moment havent heard it in a while

Those white lights people are describing are called phosphenes... here's a definition of them from Wikipedia:

"A phosphene is an entoptic phenomenon characterized by the experience of seeing light without light actually entering the eye. The word phosphene comes from the Greek words phos (light) and phainein (to show).[1] Phosphenes can be directly induced by mechanical, electrical, or magnetic stimulation of the retina or visual cortex as well as by random firing of cells in the visual system. Phosphenes have also been reported by meditators,[2] people who go for long periods without visual stimulation (also known as the prisoner's cinema) or who are under the influence of drugs, especially a hallucinogen."

For me, they come just before having hypnagogic dreams, and usually indicate a psychic opening and get me to watch carefully, because pictures will start coming through. Nothing scary about them. Do a search on phosphenes... interesting stuff!

shadowpeople are simply other demensional people that appear in certain areas or times whwn demensional barriers are in the process of breaking down. Dear writer: I just did a search for shadow people on the www.george noory@coast to coast.com altertnately egistered as simply as coast to coast am. Under shadow people theresw an intering article by rosemary guilley that states there are indeed portals opening up,and that radio eterview occurred on June 13, 2009.

I had an incident with "shadow" entities when I was a kid which haunts me to this day.

I was about 7 or 8 at the time and slept in a room with my sister on a bunk bed (I was at the top and she was at the bottom). I remember waking around 3 in the morning and seeing 5 shadow people in the room looking straight at me. The room was silent and still. One of them stood by the door (which was also where the light switch was situated) and the others faced the bed. They didn't do anything... they just watched me. Next thing I knew, it was morning and I had woken up.

Thing is, I know this was not a dream, I was fully awake when it happened, even if it did seem out of the ordinary. So yes, I know these things exist... whatever they are. What they want, however is anyone's guess.
